No, a lie is not a lie. Equating this to the Iraq war betrayal is not in the same stratosphere. I have no bias. You want to investigate Benghazi for the 1000th time and continue the clown show, go ahead.
You'd fit right in with the Obama White House. The Iraq "betrayal" was a betrayal of bad information given by well meaning people in the intelligence community. Aside from this, you are right. The "lie" of Benghazi is not comparable in any way to Iraq. Fixed it for ya. Won't have to. The House Select committee will now take that over.
Got it. You have no consistency. So, as I stated before, I'm assuming you will follow your own advice? I'm not equating them, merely pointing out your inconsistency. Your very point, I am sure, is that if one were upset about Benghazi then they should also have been upset about Iraq, and for the very same reason. It would seem, for some untold reason, you don't think that works both ways. Further, you go out of your way to call others out on their inconsistency, yet you somehow deny it even exists in your case, even though it is over the very same two issues. You may have a point there. Obama didn't get bipartisan support for his actions, nor did he get full Congressional approval, nor are the very people who were for it originally somehow now against it, nor did he have the full and complete backing of all 15 intelligence agencies prior to making their 'lies', nor did he do it for our national security but rather for personal political gain. Yes, not in the same stratosphere...thank you for pointing that out.
LMFAO the distraction continues. No one gives a **** about Benghazi except staunch Republicans that want anything to justify their failing political positions. They lost on hating minorities, homosexuals, women....so they need distractions... Obama is a Kenyan, Jeremiah Wright, Ayers and anything else to release their inner anger that they are dinosaurs. Fox fans the flames, incompetent POS like Palin get 5 minutes of fame and "fake" outrage is exposed. Enjoy investigating Benghazi and wasting everyones time ... Because the only people that care were not going to vote for Obama anyway.
Nope, I am 100% consistent. Didn't care a lick about the minor **** Bush may or may not have done, nor do I care about Benghazi. I have major concerns over the lies of the Iraq War. If Obama were to commit treason, I would have major concerns over that as well. This isn't Rocket science. Yep, the clown show continues. Complete and total false equivalency.
So lying about an attack on the U.S.A. is, and I quote, 'minor ****'. Got it. And I'm sure you can point to where you have called out Kennedy, Kerry, Clinton, Reid, Pelosi, etc for their support of the actions Bush took, right? You know, to demonstrate how very consistent you've been. Yes, it does. What you are confused about is who the clowns are. I wasn't claiming they were equivalent, just the opposite. Do you even read what is posted before screaming 'false equivalency'? I guess not. It is also noted that you failed to demonstrate that anything I included was false. It is funny though (which is what one expects from clowns). Keep bringing Bush up all the times themselves, but screaming 'false equivalency, false equivalency' any time the comparison goes the other way.
I would like to ask you, Nook.....why don't you give a *****??? Is it really ok with you that they lied about this? If so....that says a lot more about you than it does about any Republicans. I'm not a big fan of a lot of the stuff they get all worked up over---but if lying about this is ok, what isn't?
Yes, nobody gives a **** about Benghazi. Oh wait, there's the family of these folks. But I guess in your world, they count as nobody.
Inspections actually were doing it, and had already gotten rid of much of the WMD's. Just before the election with all of the troops ready to go, they agreed to let inspectors have any and all access required. It was as simple as allowing that to go through, while keeping the troops ready in case there was a broken agreement or restrictions placed upon the inspections. The Bush administration was tired of waiting, and told the inspectors to stay clear then started the war.
One of the biggest lies Bush told was when asking for the authorization he said that he was asking for it in order to keep the peace. The idea was that if he had authority to use the military force, Iraq would back down. That's what Bush told congress is that authorizing military force would keep the peace. Turned out to be a lie. Kennedy, Kerry, Clinton, Reid, Pelosi etc. were all lied to. Their problem was that they fell for that lie, and I do blame them for that.
From what I read, the lack of response was more due to not having a big enough quick strike team that could get to Benghazi in a reasonable amount of time. You could know the facts about the situation too, simply read the House report instead of listening to Fox pundits.
It was certainly a "big deal" in that Americans were killed. It could have been an even bigger clusterf#ck than it was if we had sent yet more troops in to kill and be killed.
Again, read the House report, Ambassador Stevens was not begging for more security. Some of you need to learn that Fox pundits are lying to you.
These were the "intelligence" reports from Curveball, the source Bush et. al. used even after he was shown to be a liar.
Bush created the special "intelligence" division in DoD which used Curveball even after the rest of the intelligence community determined he was lying.
You're listening to liars. The weapons inspections were working. Especially once it was made clear that the US was gearing up to invade, the inspectors had unfettered access to everything in Iraq, right up until Bush had them pulled out so that we could invade.
It isn't just the lie, it is what the lie led to. The Bush administration's lies led us into a nearly decade long war, cost thousands of American troops and tens of thousands of Iraqis their lives and cost trillions of dollars. The "lie" in the Benghazi affair cost nobody a life and was little more than spin and damage control in the middle of an election campaign. If you can't see the difference, then you have completely secured your own blinders. Obama said it was a terrorist attack the same day. He apparently didn't use the exact language you would prefer, but he did use the word "terrorist" in his speech where he told America about Benghazi. I'm sorry you have chosen to listen to liars on this issue, but you don't have to wear the blinders they have provided, that is your choice.
Based on the "intelligence" of Curveball, who was a liar that Bush and co. believed because it made the case for war.
