Lin is overpaid. Who wouldn't be loyal to $$$$$?

I see nothing wrong with players from different teams hangin out and partying together - as long as you can put that outta yer mind and go for the jugular in actual gametime...

I think it was Isiah Thomas (SR), was the first guy I noticed being all nice and friendly to the other team during games... now THAT, I disagree with.... when yer on the court, your only friends are your teammates....

And Lin has paid them back by playing his hardest when he's in the game and striving to improve.

He doesn't owe them some eternal gratitude because they were just so benevolent as to let this Ivy League Asian kid into the Cool Kids Club.

And LOL at the contrived idea that a team cutting you is doing you a favor. I'm sure the Rockets cut him out of the goodness of their hearts.

No, you missed something. It wasn't kindness out of their hearts, the Rockets were being loyal to Lin. Get that right! For if it weren't for the Rockets cutting him, none of this happened, including his overpaid contract (which was also a favor by the benevolent Les Alexander to Lin). It wasn't Lin's hard work at all. It was the Rockets plan all along, because they have this uncanny ability to predict the future. :p

This happens ALL the time. It absolutely is doing you a favor to give you a chance to prove yourself elsewhere. We know exactly why The Rockets cut him, no need to go through it again, all a numbers game.

No different then us trading AB this year. Was it a slap in the face to trade him or a nice gesture to get him somewhere he can play and show what he's got?

We gave Lin a chance, let him show something's which probably got him noticed elsewhere. We let him go and he capitalized.

Lol AB got traded while AB and Morey both knowing he was gonna get playing time with Ty Lawson and Nate Robinson being injured. Lin on the other hand got cut cause the Rockets thought he wasn't good enough. Lin or Morey wasn't even sure if Lin was gonna get picked up by another team. Let alone getting playing time or Linsanity. He just happen to be lucky getting picked up by the Knicks cause of injuries. Knicks didn't even plan on playing him a lot or keeping him until the end of the season. So AB's and Lin's situation wasn't similar at all.

That sounds like something a company tells its workers after the factory has been relocated to Indonesia.

In some cases, a team may cut a respected player who no longer fits on the team so that he can go to a someplace where he will be guaranteed more playing time.

But in most cases like Lin's, the players in question are fringe nobodies who may have just had their last taste of the NBA. These players are fighting to be the 13th man, not to be cut so they can be stars elsewhere.

Nobody is begrudging the Rockets for cutting a younger Jeremy Lin. But the fact that you're trying to spin that move as some sort of benevolent gesture by the Rockets is comical.

Getting cut means you don't get paid and you don't play. Yeah that's a great favor

This isn't an issue at all. Even if it wasn't an Adidas event players do this all the time. Asian Sensation is full of **** though as "most of the team" was not there

That isn't accurate at all. You are defending Lin as much as you can in every thread. You care a great deal. Trying to say otherwise is laughable.

Just acknowledge it and move on.

Oh, and call BS on Asian Sensation, lol. Not surprised that didn't happen

Did you see the posts earlier in this thread? I don't defend Lin for his mistakes but he did nothing wrong here. Do you agree or disagree?

In any case, enlighten me how Asian Sensation BSed. Are you an insider? Tell us who was there on the Rockets and Blazers since you have the inside scoop? I don't expect a response, so you're probably BSing. lol
