Clutch is no sterling. He was a big fan of Yao Ming

 

Stirling didn't have issues with Koreans, just Blacks and Latinos.

 

The comparisons to Sterling were terrible and completely unfounded, but that doesn't stop this whole thing that Clutch did from being childish.

It is not childish at all, it is funny and points out how delusional some folks are, and how it ****S up a quality Rockets discussion.

Maybe a little self awareness would go a long way, and this is the first step.

I wouldn't go that far. Perhaps, a little exasperated? If you ever have a peek at the tweets directed at Clutch, Friedman, and Morey you'll see they're accused of racism and what not on a daily basis.

The LOFs wear people down.

 

Good stuff, great how most of the negative feedback to clutch on this thread is from LOF's and YOF's that are now LOF's.

This thread seems like a goodbye love letter, not to Jeremy, because Jeremy has been great, but to his fans, who have been absolutely awful.

I know "LOF" has become a label and I agree that those people, whatever you call them, do wear people down. I don't blame Clutch for losing it because of that. To me, Clutch doing this thread is like ZBo punching Adams. Yes, it makes you feel good at the time. But at the end of the day, it makes things worse in the big picture.

The sad thing is, not all "Lin only fans" are extremists. It's like calling all Muslims terrorists. I see many Lin fans who are not really Rockets fans (at least not before Lin became a Rocket) are not extremists. It's those loud mouth race card flashing people who give LOF's a bad name.

 

I don't compare Clutch to Sterling. Sterling deserves more respect because at least he has the guts to say what he thinks in front of people's faces, instead of hiding behind a computer like a cowardly troll.

 

I didn't read all the comments posted under the original thread but I'm sure some of it was ridiculous. But is it really delusional to have a different opinion of Lins play than his own opinion, or just what he said?
