    Harden guarding lopez
Taking Lin out on the final.play after he played great D on Lilard
    No form of offense
Horrible D on the last play
    Doesn't know defense
Throws his players under the bus
    Never owns up to anything
    Horrible rotations

Let's bring him back what could possibly go wrong

Rockets fans after game one, "Man McFail needs to hold these guys accountable! FIRE HIM!"

Rockets fans a few days later, "WTF McFail is throwing the guys under the bus for calling them out. FIRE HIM"

what stroke of genus did Stotts have? Give the ball to LMA and have him chuck up horrible shots?

Didn't cry after Lillard hit the 3. Didn't cry the day after.

    Might cry now.

I think it was Bum Phillips who said this:

There are only two kinds of coaches, those who are fired and those who are going to be fired.

BTW, I think decisions on firing or keeping the head coach are Les Alexander's not Morey's.

Oh great, a baseless opinion. Stop speaking out of your ass. You have nothing to support that. You don't think Dwight realizes that the only plays McHale calls are isos and screen/rolls?

This can't be true. More and Les HAVE to be as tired of the cringe-worthy postgame / loss pressers and the full bore "in-over-my-head" incompetence on display?

"Grow with the team"? WTF does that even mean?!? Either he knows the X's and Os or he doesn't, and he clearly doesn't. He's already buddy-buddy with the guys, but that's not what they need. Look at COTY, is he buddies with his players? No, he disciplines them - and that is EXACTLY what young players need. McHale seems like a really likeable guy, but he clearly doesn't know WTF he is doing. Stotts ran circles around him, it wasn't even close. We CANNOT afford to waste our stars' prime years. We have a short window, and then it's time to rebuild again. Good God, please don;t throw this away...

I love Morey. I do NOT want to turn against him. But if they keep McHale... I just have to question his judgment and his thinking. I don't get it. If they do keep McHale on for another year, and we see ANY sort of failure, then Morey will have to go too. Morey is a wizard IMHO in stocking the roster and acquiring talent, but if he can't get the right coaching talent to accompany the floor talent, then he will have to go, too.

Awesome... time to detach a little bit from the Rockets to prepare for next year's first round exit.

Le$ needs to take his hands off this team and back off.

To be honest, this move reeks of cronyism. Its not about your qualifications, its about who you know and who are your friends. This is how the Rockets organizations seems to be run. I don't know their thinking being i'm not there, but if its true, its a shame giving the talent Houston has had and still does. My conjecture.

This is just so sad. Why McHale? What do Rockets like about him? I dont think Rockets understand anything. He is obviously dumb.

Its "claimed" that one of the reasons he came here was to be coached by McHale.

I would rather look at the assistant coaches we will have next year. To make up for the fact that McHale is still the head coach.

Show me an owner making personnel decisions and a GM making coaching decisions, and I'll show you a team that will disappoint season after season.

    Chill the **** out.

Dwight has admitted on numerous occasions his affinity for McHale. It's not beyond the realm of possibility that Morey must keep Dwight happy, and therefore bring back McHale -- if that is, indeed, the case.

It would be far more preposterous if Morey kept McHale while Dwight wanted him gone. So why don't you stop speaking out of your ass.

Guys, you had a good season. I trust Coach McHale, he's done a great job.

Only in Houston professional sports will underachievement be rewarded - Matt Schaub, Gary Kubiak, and now Kevin McHale.

I think this is just Morey being stubborn and not wanting to admit a mistake.
