Maybe this is hazy now in the morning ... But I remember the blazers had 67 points and we fouled someone sending them to the line . They switched camera views and bill said he missed the free throw, yet when I looked at the score again it had moved to 68 . He made the next free throw . I think it was Aldridge . Now bill definitely is not foolproof in watching the game but I think he can determine whether or not a free throw goes in . When I look at the play by play on NBA it says Aldridge jumps shot made to get them from 67 to 69 but I distinctly remember it being free throws . Anyone else remember this ?
Well the 0.000000001% that you are right this thread would go down in history at clutchfans. Good luck
If anyone has video of this moment please go review it because I can't convince myself that this didn't happen otherwise lol
I was convinced Batum's very first three of the game had his foot on the line and they never reviewed it.
I mean I'm probably wrong but I just had a really strong feeling about this and hoped other on clutchfans may have recorded the game .
I just watched the video. Blazers had 65 points. Aldridge gets fouled by Jones and makes the basket. So the Blazers have 67 points with Aldridge going to the line for 1 free throw. He then makes the free throw to get to 68.
you can watch the replay on espn3.com. LMA scored to get portland to 67, he was fouled on the same play and made the free throw converting the 3 point play making the total 68. Matthews then went to the line after being fouled on the fast break and missed the first and made the 2nd which brought portland to 69...
it's a shame you weren't right. I'm just imagining a game 7 now....and you becoming a rockets legend.
I think it is reversed when you get used to it. I just finished the denial stage so I guess I am done. I went through it backwards which is weird.
