Lillard a budding star? The guy basically flatlined from his rookie season. At one point people were talking about a regression.

It's understandable you and others are snowed by what happened this series. But rest assured Lillard isn't who you think he is. What he did against the Rockets is unsustainable.

Same for LMA except LMA is indeed a star in every sense of the word.

 

Lillard had a very good series. However, it certainly didn't hurt that Patrick Beverley contracted a nasty bug that reduced his minutes/defensive effectiveness for three key games.

The Rockets beat themselves as much as the Blazers won this series.

Dragic had a better season should have been the allstar instead of him. He only shined against our very bad defense.

 

You are ****ting on fellow Rockets fans to prove a shallow and quite possibly fluke-worthy point, as evidenced when Lillard regresses to the mean next series.

He is tough to cover, but you dont put a forward on a guard unless that forward is lebron.

 

I ranked point guards earlier in the season and said lillard was 7th. A few posters on clutchfans called me out for putting him on the top ten list, but i factored in potential and talent over numbers. Lillard is skilled and some guys here take lin over him. But even i dont think he is this good. He will fall back down to earth next round.

I also said portland is strongest where we are weakest--pg, pf, and rebounding.

 

Not going to hate the guy. He balled all series and had timely threes all the damn time. Wish our star guard showed up for more than one game.
