I like that team, I really do, and in terms of effort, I can't blame them. But on the other hand, I can't say I'm proud of them. Did I expect them to win a championship? No, that's just not realistic. Did I expect them to at least make it out of the 1st round with arguably the best C and SG in the league on the roster? Absolutely. Adding to that, as other posters already pointed out, we don't know how many years Dwight's prime is going to last. He's certainly not getting younger.
They're funnin' us on ESPN. Adding Howard and all we got was 2 playoff wins. Meanwhile Parsons is now free to do 'The Bachelor' with all his free time this summer.
Good for you. We are clearly a more talented team but fell short so many times in ther series. There has to be a change. I wouldn't say I am proud. Because that's not a right emotion give we under achieved.
D'oh! U wasted hundreds of hours of your life this season. I don't care. Think about it: you wasted hundreds of hours of your life. I didn't. I love the Rockets.
From here on out.....it's championship or bust, as long as we have Howard and Harden. Kudos to them for competing but there is nothing to be proud of. Even the Rockets know they're better than this.
dont get me wrong. im proud of the rockets regular season. absolutely hated their performance in the playoffs... didn't help that the refs were making terrible call after terrible call. I am not proud of the way we played in the playoffs. we need a change
This. There is nothing to be proud of. We were talking about championships. Parsons was spouting off at the mouth and barely backed it up. This team has the talent to make it to the Finals. Being eliminated in the first round whilst having home court - there's literally nothing to be proud of. Like it or not we are the joke of the league for the near future. Although it will bring positive changes next season - no. I refuse to see there's something to be proud of.
Well time to accept it, it just happened. Every game went down to the wire. I mean we lost on a fade away 3 from five feet behind the line. If he doesn't hit that shot we win the series back in Houston. This will resonate with our players all season and we will be nothing but stronger. Next year is our year.
