Calling it: Rockets Make the Finals Next Year

    May seem silly, but this team really isn't that far away.

    We will get a stretch 4 next season (Love or Melo), Papanikolaou will come over from Europe, and Morey will find some guard help with the MLE. This team will be a beast next year.

    This team won't come close to the Finals until they figure out how to close games. The Lillard shot will hurt me for days, but the Rockets choked late lead after late lead this series. Shouldn't have been in a position for Lillard to end their season to begin with.

    No way... too undisciplined, not well coached, WAY too much relying on talent. Get a new coach in there and its possible. I'm tired of watching this defense.

    Scary thing is you never know how long you'll have a healthy Dwight. Next year is never guaranteed.

    This team won't come close to the Finals until we play defense. I can't think of a single team that was THIS BAD defensively that has ever made it to the NBA finals.

    You don't see 120-120 point totals in finals games for a reason.

    Once or twice I'll put it down to the players.

    Game after game after game after game in the Playoffs? You know it's a coaching issue.

    It is painful to go through this. But it's taking one step backward to take two steps forward.

    We get rid of McHale and bring in a coach who is capable of actually you know - making coaching decisions in game.

    This team will look a whole lot different under a competent coach.

    are they still gonna run n gun?

    are they still gonna turn the ball over at an alarming rate?

    are they still not gonna give a **** about defense?

    are they still gonna have a crap half-court offense?

    are they still gonna iso everything down the stretch?

    is mchale still gonna be the coach?

    if so then hell no they aint making the finals.
