Bev still isn't well, whether its the flu or his knee or what but he really isn;t looking to shoot at all. Perhaps saving it all for D, but frankly he needs to give us a little something on O if he is out there. When he went for that layup he was engulfed by Lopez and looked really slow to react, and when he was fed the ball in the corner he had an open look at a 3 and pulled it down and looked to pass it, not his usal MO. Dude has really pushed himself to the Nth degree these last few weeks of the season.

Yeah what an ass. Seemed very, very condescending when Harden drew those last FTs.

 

Seen this before, leading most of the way...can we capitalize on their mistakes? They don't make many, that will be the key' any opportunity we get, every free throw, every possession counts big. Extra muscle and effort is required.

 

I'm still puzzled at the calls LMA received earlier in the game.

If refs continue to screw us we should put in Powell just to murder LMA. If we are gonna lose we should make the Blazers pay a huge price for it.

 

Totally agree. The Rockets have been doing a good job (or officials lol) of not putting the Blazers on the Line and its something they are going to need to continue in the second half.

The touch fouls called will only really hurt the Rockets if Asik or Howard get in foul trouble in the 3rd. Its crucial for both not to, less than ideal of only Asik does, bad if only Howard does, and terrible if both do.

Hit free throws, avoid putting Blazers on line and avoid foul trouble for Howard will lead to a Rockets victory.

 

Someone please make a compilation of all the BS calls in this series and circulate it via social media.

 

she doing a better job because she seems more comfortable with Jalen and Simmons. She can Joke with them and still stay on schedule with the highlights and NBA news. Sage too straight-laced. when Simmons or Jalen go off script Sage struggles to get them back focused instead of just steering the conversation with them.

 

Pharrel's song is almost as annoying as the reffing in this series.

 

Good point. I put him in a warrior category and feel like nothing hurts him but deep down you know he's in pain.

I just feel if we rely on Harden all game this is not going to end well. I don't think Howard can be that man tonight. Jones or Parsons will have to be big.

Yes, I agree....with his sole purpose being to foul LMA HARD...I mean take him to the floor hard. Might as well get your money's worth while you are collecting a foul. As long as you don't go up around the neck....run over him and through him taking him to the ground. The Rockets could pay the fine. People may dislike Barkley but he would have already exacted a pound of flesh.

 

People!!! NBA just doesn't want two Texas teams play together in the second round. You just need to have more people involve in the games, you know? That's just the business decision. So the ref bias calls should be easy to understand
