[ClutchFans] Jeremy Lin fans race to defend Jeremy Lin from Jeremy Lin

Wait, all this literally happened because Old Man Rock disagreed with Clutch? What I see is this:

1) Clutch posts a podcast
2) Old Man Rock disagrees with his podcast's views on Lin and argues Clutch is biased vs. Lin. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=253987&page=3
3) Clutch responds by creating a poll that "justifies" his point.
4) Lin fans, LOFs, even non-Lin fans disagree with Clutch
5) Clutch creates this article to explain how everyone that disagrees with him is an automatic LOF regardless of who they are.

I thank Clutch for putting in the sweat equity to create this site and understand that he is entitled to his own opinions on any matter. But that give him immunity to criticism.

Using the LOF strawman to win a meaningless argument, especially during a time when Rockets should be united in the support for the team, is poor leadership.

Without him, we would have a backup point like Blake or Darrel Armstrong. We'd have won the series by now if true. That being said the team as a whole looks very young and unimpressive so far. Dont take it personally maybe this will change things.

The problem with your premise Clutch is that everyone knows Lin is a very humble guy who usually downplays his own game while praising his teammates.

 

If you argue with a philospher, you can win.
If you argue with a fool *LOF*, you will always lose.
Don't feed the trolls.

Harden shows up
Bev is healthy
Troy gets some plays run for him
Dwight continues dominating
Lin plays aggressively
Parsons actually makes a basket in the 2nd half

You could hear clutch in the recent podcast being really careful of he analyzed Lin in game 5 and his past performance knowing the backlash of Lin fans in the forum. I guess his probably thinking "why the hell do i have to tip toe when analyzing Lin's games?" I guess he just had enough of it?

To be honest tho, LOH's and LOF's are alike. LOH's generally only post generally about Lin BUT in a negative light. LOF's generally only post about Lin BUT in a positive light.

The Ying and the Yang, the perfect mix of a Lin discussion party.

Then you have the people in the middle who are bystanders, sometimes fed up with all the Lin talk. Sometimes these bystanders will take sides if they feel one side is being too harsh or over the top, sometimes these bystanders will just have enough and scroll through the forum trying to go through threads that actually discuss other matters.

 

Everything about this thread perfectly epitomizes this site for the past couple of years. Straight from the top down.

 

Good thing I missed all this. It sounds tiring just from reading your bulletin points.

It's honestly not a big deal when the usual suspects are being this hard on Lin. But seeing Clutch putting this much effort into it does seem rather disheartening.
