I don't think this guy majored in psychology, philosophy, social studies, nor English. It's sad when you think you're that entitled. Remove "deserve" and make it blunt that "We will move on" and he would come off much better.

He was misquoted. It was "best-looking SF".

Garcia will play and help out. I think Powell and Dmo will come out to play as well.

I thought Mo Williams was stupid for what he did to fire us up, and now that fire is on Blazers. Good job Parsons

This is not even the title of the blog entry. Why did you title the thread with only part of the quote?

That Chandler was happy to be in the league. New Chandler feels that he deserves a contract bigger than Nic Batum who has been taking him behind the woodshed this series.

answering the media at a time where you need to be focused and driven for a game 6 isnt the way to go...Ofcourse you have media responsibilities, but you just got out and play...no need to talk and then play. Whether there was ammunition or not behind his statements, CP25 has been outplayed by Batum who is clearly the much better "small forward in this series."

Surprised Rockets PR hasn't told him to stop talking. Stop motivating the Blazers...

He could have said, "We haven't proved that we are the better team so far. We need to do a better job."

Saying that you "deserve" something before you earn it is just dumb.

I am OK with this statement.
And I definitely wasn't with Chandler's "I'm the greatest SF in this series" blooper.

The thing is ... we all know the Rockets are the better team (if they were playing to their potential). I think on some level the Blazers know it's true too.

There a lot of timid little people in the fan base. "Don't make the Blazers mad!"

He is supposed to shut up and prove it on the court.

Batum has already made him pay for the dumb comments he made earlier in the series.

This kinda arrogance is why we arent winning. You dont just go out on the floor thinking you are better than someone...You go show the world that you are. The Rockets surely can be beat. We "wanted the Blazers" because they were the easier out...but look at who is up in this series with a chance to close out at home. The Rockets are in for a fight...and our players need to play and not talk...

    Parsons is right.

According to the official NBA revisions we should be 4-1.

Unfortunately according to actual scorecards we still need 2 wins to progress....
