ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Blazers 5/2/2014 (Playoffs Round 1, Game 6)

Beverly feeling better....best news of the day so far!! WE GOT THIS

 

The key is to keep Dwight and Omer out of foul trouble. Omer picked up 6 fouls and that swung the momentum to Portland in the 4th Q in Game 5.
McHale needs to go deeper if he wants to keep Dwight and Omer in the game. D-Mo, Casspi, and Powell aren't that bad when used for limited minutes.

 

Go back and replay those fouls. Most were fantom and you know his blown misses at the rim? Most of those were LMA or Lopez shoving him in the back.

 

It's going to be a tough game. As a fan I hope to see us win... but realistically we put ourselves in a bind... we probably lose unless Harden and the squad play out of their minds....

With that being said I don't want to see fans screaming to release every player (let go of McHale though.....) if we lose... stay classy.

This is the toughest 2 games of the season... get the first aid kit ready.

 

Play to Lin;

don't play not-to-lose.

 

With Bev back to check Lillard, Howard turning the clock back 5 years, Lin looking like a decent 6th man again, Aldridge regressing to the mean, and us finally closing a 4th quarter out... there are lots of positive things to take in as we get closer to game 6. I'm pumped/nervous.

 

That's so cute. Don't you know if you put a hand on aldridge its a foul?

 

Psh hand? Breathe on Aldridge and he gets two free throws.

 

Dwight, game MVP. James, x-factor. Jeremy, Lin. Rockets win. Going back to Houston for game 7.

Parsons needs to learn how to keep his mouth fcking shut if this is allegedly true.

Three things need to happen tonight

Parsons needs to cancel out Batum.

Harden has to be himself and outplay Wesley freaking Mathews.

And Dwight needs to continue what he has been doing.

Morey noted in his interview that if we continue to do what we have been doing to Aldridge, that he shouldn't blow up.

Beverley is back to full health, and it really seems like things are coming together.

This is a blowout if Beverley is knocking down his open corner threes.

I think the Rockets will play the same defense they did in game 5. They were rotating like crazy near the end of the game. I think it carries over and the Rockets win going away.

 

Keep going back & forth over whether I'm going to watch. I already feel sick to my stomach.
