Wow. Not even 50% of the votes are no. Absolutely no doubt this will be one of those threads bumped down the road making many people look foolish.
Hell yeah I trade him. 1. Lilliard one of the best assist to turnovers ratio in the game. 2. Gives effort on both side of the court. 3. He's cheaper which means more cap space to pursue other FA. 4. Doesn't shut it down when his shot aren't falling.
Lol. This team is hard to root for at times. I check out when my star player doesn't seem to care either. The Grizz have always been my 2nd favorite team. They play the right way...grit n grind baby.
So who voted yes? I hope Harden explode to remind you guys what you are forgetting. That is just plain idiotic. This board, SMH.
Harden is the best player @ his position and only ONE YEAR OLDER than Lillard. PG's in this league are a dime a dozen so hell to the no.
i wouldn't, and here's why: this is a PG league right now. there are SOOOOO many good pg's. MUCH easier to find a good PG than a good SG. Dame is great, dont get me wrong...but theres a very high number of great PGs, and an even higher number of good PGs. CP3, Kyrie, Lin (jk), Parker, Westbrook, Rose, Dame, Curry, Wall, Rondo Conley, Lowry, DWill, Teague, Kemba, Oladipo, Goran, Bledsoe, Jrue, Lawson I mean wow. How many great/ good SGs are there? 4?5? And hardens the best out of em? Ill take that all day, despite his disappointing 1st round
That's not really how it works, teams go to very specific defensive setups that often leave players more open (Danny Green in last year's finals early on is a great example, Miami left him open for 5 games), Lin has only just figured out that Lillard is a worse defender than Harden and he has a paddock to run through will all the room they're giving him. Since game 2 we've been leaning over on Aldridge, whereas Portland has been leaning on Harden since game 1, really really hard. In the first cpl games we were leaning more on Lillard and he didn't do much at all, on the other hand Aldridge went off for 90 points so obviously that wasn't working.... Lillard wasn't really good in game 4 either, he just took a lot of dribble the ball up and jack up a 3 and in they were going shots, if Harden had a good shooting game like that, he could play lousy and get decent stats out of that too, anyone can.
But PG is arguably the most important position in the game, while SG is probably the least important. There are a dime a dozen great shooters out there. Harden is different because he can make plays and score in different ways, but I'd rather have my PG dominate the ball than my SG.
