Man, you got to give it to Bev. Hope he's fully recovered for G6.

Lin and Harden are oil and water. Why is that so hard for you to understand? Even McHale the dope has already figured that out and somehow others here don't. Not to mention that Beverley's (especially when he's healthy) defense helps make up for Harden's lack of D. More importantly, Beverley has proven by all the advanced statistics that he's been more valuable to the Rockets than Lin.

I would like to know what goes on during the time they spend watching tape. Seriously, I wonder if they go through things like "You shouldn't have done this Jeremy." or "Harden, you got to get the ball out sooner." Or "See this Dwight? We need more solid screens like this." Or even "You gotta feed Asik here so he has the best chance to finish." Do we even do that? In high school, the assistant coach would always make sure we'd get some feedback from our previous game. Just to have it in our head so we know where to improve or change our decision making.

You're acting like the team last year was somehow better. Check the win/loss record. We couldn't even beat OKC without Westbrook. We were better off with Beverley in the starting lineup. Beverley probably isn't even 50% so don't let the playoffs fool you.

Sports is mental game as much as physical game. Would you rather have someone like JLin or #BeWell?

I expect a lot of clutchfans to be up late upset about the officiating.

Just remember the blazers will get squashed by the spurs after they blow us out.

Well guess what, if during these past two years mchale were to allow Lin to do what he's best at, instead of playing shooting guard and small forward and camping at the corner to shoot 3's, then what you said wouldn't be the case now. If Lin were allowed to develop, then rockets would be a much more dangerous team by now, and when harden gets cold, rockets would still have a great playmaker.

Yes Rockets probably would have traded Lin if it were not for the poison pill while Lin may have better chance on other team.

Howard play great defense at the end against Aldridge but his defense against Lopez is horrendous. He even got pumped fake by Lopez while driving to the hoop. You don't ever care about Lopez pump fake man...wtf kind of defense is that. Don't worry about Lopez shooting from outside either...he sucks.

    THIS!

As much as we hated T-Mac for quitting on the Rockets during his final days, i never thought he was selfish and only look to pat his stats. On occassions T-Mac would force the issue, but then again, just look at his support cast.

Harden, on the other hand, takes matter into his own hands way too often, even though he doesn't have overwhelming natural advantage like that of T-Mac. T-Mac can pretty much get off any shots he wants. Inside post, outside 3, transition, court vision, drive with either left or right. Both as stars on their respective teams, T-Mac has much less ego and play within the realm of the team concept.

I am not sure we can ever be championship material if Harden chose to not take his game and mentality further. I have argued many times in the past that alot of times Harden really is net negative on the court. He may score 25 points a night, but what good is it if he consistently gives up 30? Matador defense from your alpha dog will sag team morale. How often do we see Harden's counterpart having career nights playing against Harden? the JJ Redick, PJ Tucker of the world. Worst of all, it's not that he can't play defense, but he chose not to give any effort because it doesn't show up on the stat sheet.

You maybe right but they have a punchers chance to pull it out. I don't know if you saw some of the highlights on CSNHouston but Harden did not look like he was into the game. When Parsons made that huge 3 to put the team up 24 - 21 and Yelled at Mo Williams, Harden was look uninterested. I am just glad he did showed up late in the game. I just hope there is no drama in the locker room and team is ready to get this round to a 7th game.

The biggest difference this year is DH's D.
