because beverly is sick today, take him out at 6+ mins marki instead of at 3+ mins mark, is actually great for Lin. it gives Lin more minutes to settle in before the quarter ends.

Harden needs to be called out, I hate the fact he did well at the end so everybody will forget and he feels he had a good game. Parsons almost choked, Harden choked, Dwight did not, Beverly played through pain, Lin played through pain, Jones came up big too, Asik was a monster and I give the co-MVP to Lin & Asik today.

Now I understand. I'm a bit distracted by beer and my own celebration. BTW, was I right on the first point? Clutch City was dubbed in 94, not 95 right?

LOL... Barkley fell in love with the 3, esp after they moved the line in.

Lin played with urgency tonight, this is the lin we need. He stepped up tonight. Harden showed signs at the end, hopefully it continues into game 6 and james harden finally shows up, were going to need him. Asik and howard were solid.

Absolutely right, I was just thinking of that. HUGE in more ways than one! His defense on LMA was special.

Honestly the first 3 and a half quarters felt like every call was going against the Rockets. Portland gets to man handle our players but we can't touch these fckers.

He did well tonight and gained momentum/confidence in the long stretches without Harden because he got to control the ball and play PG.

In previous games even when James isn't on the floor I would see mostly Parsons or Bev or someone else still running the point. Wasn't so tonight, Lin initiated a lot more and got into more PnRs.

Starting him would be a mistake at this point imo. I think they should try to maximize his time without James to get him going.

Lin played well because he was allowed the opportunity to build on an early offensive rhythm. If you look at all 5 games of this series, Lin has improved the +/- for the Rockets in his first half stints. He has been getting good shots for the wing shooters and the bigs and the offense has been effective. McHale takes him out too early and plays him too few minutes. He has overused Beverley who basically has nothing left in the tank.

Asik and Lin balled out tonight. Saved our season. I don't know what the hell is wrong with Harden. He looks like he doesn't want to play.

Howard is angry with Harden for playing too much hero ball. Harden is angry with Howard for telling him this

Lin shut Mo down tonight. Good defense and steals from Lin.
