    (1) We can trust Lin to be inconsistent.
    (2) We must trust Lin this season. Because it's not as though a replacement's lying around. If the team is to go far, everything and everyone has to fall into place.
    (3) But we don't have to trust him next season, and can try to dump him over the summer.
