    It's the slingshot effect that kicks in when we start pulling away. There doesn't need to be a foul committed, the Blazers just get to shoot some extra free throws at random points in the game to keep it even. It's good TV.

    I'm convinced. This series is absolutely fixed. Asik and Howard are getting hammered, and the refs deliberately look the other way.
