i hope Mchale can motivate them to play harder that they have played the first half. it was good but we could have been up by more than 15pts. we got to beat them and let them know that we are capable of beating them every game.

Come on Harden, at least he who must not be named, always put up big numbers in the playoffs.

What surprises me also: why aren't Harden's team mates shouting at him, getting in his face about not playing defense?????

If Harden could shoot better (or shoot like he did during the regular season), I can guarantee that 90% of the people complaining in this forum would stop. We got used to Harden's defense, whatever. We always justified his horrible defense with the argument that Harden was the greatest offensive SG in the league. Chandler Parsons is playing much better than Harden right now, and that is not an exaggeration. Harden needs to show up. Now.

What's killing Harden is that it's so freaking obvious when he's going to try to score. The other Rockets clear out and he gets into ISO-mode where he sits still casually dribbling in the same spot for a 5 seconds and then he makes him move when all the Blazers players are set up to defend him.

Exactly if I was coach...soon as I see Harden go 1 on 1 two plays in a row and killing the movement...TIMEOUT.....you can sit on bench or you can move the fuggin ball...your choice...and Jack another 3 if you want...that will get you next to me also...BE AGGRESSIVE BE BE AGGRESSIVE

Haha good luck with that. Aldridge can mug and push and get no call, I'm convinced that any whistle against him is completely by accident by now.

I recall in NY Lin was an and-1 machine. Now he gets zero calls. Might be why he shys away from taking layups as often.

Also I feel like Lin has lost some size since then, he's not able to finish through contact as well as he used to when he was heavier, before his knee injury.

Parsons? He did pretty well in the first half. We need Harden more than anything

Or the refs know he is fresh and will work it to have Howard sitting early again in the 3rd.

You guys are ridiculous. Majority of you are sitting here microscoping lins performance. The dudes having a good game end of story. Whats concerning is that harden has YET to show up this series. If we have ANY chance of advancing we need our star player to step it up on D and start attacking the rim. Hes way to good of a player to be playing like this.

All the Lin haters should be directing their vitriol toward Harden - he is the reason we lost those previous 3 games. He gives no effort on D and then goes through these periods where his offensive IQ just plummets.

That doesn't absolve Lin for his mistakes, but he's gotten more attention due to the timing of his mistakes. But in all the games, it's been Harden whose "led the way" when the Rockets have lost leads. If he gave just a minimal effort and stopped trying to make the hero plays on offense, we'd be up 3 games instead of down.

If you can't tell, I want Harden gone - not because I want Lin to assume the reins of the offense (on the contrary, he's not a starting caliber guard) but because I think Harden is fools gold. He's like Francis - his skill set will never win us a championship but it's impressive enough to raise false hopes that he'll "mature". It's not going to happen. Just as the slow lead footed guy will never be a monster dunker, Harden will never have the heart and IQ to be a winner.

    Quick thoughts

    - lin having a good game hopefully he keeps it up but I still don't like him on out teams

    - why we can't a large lead still ceases to amaze me. Damn up 17 and still u can't blow them out for a good 25 point cushion? We don't have a damn killer instinct happened in game 1 as well. I hope today will be different .

    - Aldridge and batum haven't scored much I expect they will come alive in the second half. Rockets better not lay down and take it up the ass!! Man the hell up!

Go rockets!!! If we don't win can't wait for draft and I hope to God that we don't draft manziel
