Your backs against the wall only when you face an elimination game our backs weren't against the wall in any of the other games

 

We are going to blow them out big time tonight.

 

Tonight is the night the Rox put it all together. I have a great feeling about this game. The extra day off (2 days off instead of just 1) will pay dividends. I think McHale will up the rotation to 9 or 10 men, which will help with the fatigue of the starters. We aren't losing at home. Once we win tonight Portland will feel immense pressure to win game 6. Momentum will carry us through game 6 and into game 7 where we should be huge favorites.

 

I feel extremely good about this game too first time all series I've felt like we were going to win and win big

 

So their back wasn't against the wall in game 2 when they could have went down 0-2 on their own home court?

Their back wasn't against the wall in game 3 when they could have went down 0-3 - which would have been the end?

Their back wasn't against the wall in game 4 when they had the opportunity to take back home court advantage!?

 

No they were not facing a win or go home situation. Tonight we see what they are really made of

 

I wish it wouldn't take a situation like this to see what our team is made of.

I wish the fortune teller clutchfans member can enlighten us with his knowledge to calm me down.

He used to predict correctly of the outcome...

 

It would be fitting that Portland gets their first playoff series win in over a decade over the Rockets after the Rockets got their first playoff series win in over a decade in 2009 over Portland.

 

If we can score more points than the Blazers before the final whistle sounds I think we can get the win.

I would like to see Damian have to work his butt off on defense.

 

Beverly really needs to have an impact out there.

 

I just saw a tweet from Tom Haberstroh that with Bev ailing we should expect to see more of Lin.

On the ropes. Need to come out swinging.

 

Hopefully if he's a siev on defense McHale will REALIZE this and just go with someone who can contribute. I love his energy but if he's hurt and sick then he's hurt and sick and we can't play him too many minutes.

Give Hamilton, Garcia, Daniels more minutes. Think outside the box a little.
