There is more to football than just winning and it's called entertainment. The game is not just about winning but also about entertainment. Only the elite teams will ever get to "win". There are hundreds of clubs that will never get there but they still have huge fanbases because of the entertainment value. For instance, Porto got booed off the pitch back in November for not playing good enough football, even though they won. Clubs have to justify high ticket prices especially in the EPL. It is one thing parking the bus when you are a small club with limited funds but for Chelsea - one of the richest clubs around which has spent billions of pounds on buying players to park the bus repeatedly at the big stage is just cowardly and honestly pathetic.
IMO, I won't knock it if it's working. Up 1-0 now, with strong hope of a finals appearance. Can't complain about that.
It's fine. A CL semi-final appearance is nothing to be ashamed about. Made it further than Barca, that's for sure.
