LOL wow, that's bold.....like betting that Krush Groove will be looked upon as a more successful movie than E.T. kind of bold.
I have a feeling about Tennessee at 11 with Bridgewater. Which is why I will be ecstatic if we trade back, even to 9 with Buffalo, because the chances are increasing that Bridgewater will be available there. To get the guy you wanted at 1--plus a future first and some other picks--would be a huge coup.
who the hell ever wanted Teddy Bridgewater with the first pick? certainly not BO'B. I don't even think he takes teddy with 2-33

Interesting Conclusion to that SI Article: Conclusion: The more I go back and rewatch Bridgewater tape, the less willing I am to drop into the seemingly common perception that he hads some abnormally low ceiling, and that he’ll top off pretty quickly in the NFL. Most of his deep ball issues can be fixed by the kinds of coaching and strength training that all kinds of quarterbacks (Drew Brees and Tom Brady come immediately to mind) have benefited from in obvious ways. And yes, he played at about 190 pounds through the final bit of his 2013 season, but showing up weighing 214 pounds at the combine was a definite statement. And yes, he really blew it at his pro day … but let’s be real here: Any NFL executive who will throw multiple scouted games out the window based on a shirt-and-shorts session, whether positive or negative, is probably on his way out the door. Is Bridgewater the perfect collegiate quarterback? No. There are clearly things he needs to work on, which is true of just about every quarterback prospect. But when it comes to combining innate skills and developmental potential in an NFL view, it’s hard for me to put anyone above Bridgewater. He already has a lot on the ball, and with time and patience, he could be the kind of quarterback that defines a franchise. Now rational thinking is coming back to the surface. Time to get real people!
Bridgewater will be coming into the league with a chip on his shoulder. Very good t0 great chance he develops into an elite qb. People are going to get fired for passing on this kid, let it not be us for the dear love of god
I won't be surprised if we moved down and also if Mack is gone at 6, if we pull the trigger on Teddy. I'd actually be willing to put tip jar money on that. If those two scenarios happen though... so it'll be hard to forecast that in its own right.
From what I have heard they like Teddy but not more than the top 3 defensive talents like Clowney, Mack, Barr. They hope is that Teddy is there at 2.1. They like the way Teddy Thinks the game and that he consistently makes the right play. The slender build is what is making him fall. Hands and wunderlic are not a concern from what I heard. Also they said Teddy is not as mistake prone as Bortles or as big a Wildcard are Manziel. I'll put my BS disclaimer on this as well. All this is fiction until the draft when every one put there cards on the table.
Can't say that man!!!! Look back at my post you will see I'm all for Bridgewater at 1.1 but I don't think it's going to happen realistically. Draft is to strong at other positions. Mainly on the defensive side and let's face it Offense gets you to championship game but defensive usually wins it. Also that is why I put my BS disclaimer on it. Call it what you will.
I am actually for getting Clowney/Mack at 1 and getting Bridgewater at 2:33 I just don't want to have false hope though So who is the favorite qb of BOB?
Defense wins championships but offense wins games. And a team can't make it to the chip unless they can win games. St Louis, Buffalo, and Cleveland have good defenses but they can't win games...
That I don't know. I heard Logan Thomas could be a late rd flyer may start out QB position and then be moved to TE
And Seattle always had a good defense but they weren't doing too much until they lucked up on Russell in the 3rd round. A mature young man who was already married and was a previous professional in another sport. Only fell to the 3rd because of his height. And if you look at who Seattle drafted with their 1st and 2nd round picks that year (drafting a defensive end with a fast 40 time in the 1st round who they are still trying to find a spot for) _ they almost screwed the pooch. Hopefully the Texans can do the same... Fingers crossed.
http://walterfootball.com/nfldraftrumormill.php Bridgewater is officially entrenched in the second round. How the f did that happen, from sure fire #1 to second round smh, I guess the pro day was really that bad
