Not his fault to stop the free throw. How he did it was bad as always. Joey Crawford should be banned from the NBA for life.

    1. Gotta hit the free throw
    2. Joey did what was right.

Joey is dramatic but he did the right thing. If Durant had missed the 2nd he wouldn't have had time to correct the scoreboard.

    So blame the scorekeepers.

In that situation I see no reason why Crawford should interrupt an important FT like that. The guy just wants to be the center of attention which is the last thing a referee should do.

You are barking up the wrong tree.

I hardly get pissed off about refs uness its really really blatant. I am usually trying to placate folks in the game thread that constantly whine about the calls.

Rockets players or not, the Joey incident is weak sauce IMO.

Was Joey taking the ball away from Durant's hands when he was bricking the entire game?

A stronger case could be made for Beverley being the cause of Westbrook scoring only 1 point in four 4th quarters combined.

Now this is a legitimate case.

You dont dance in front of a player while they are attempting shots in a live game.

Here's to hoping Joey does all the road games for Rockets and none of their home games!

Blame it on the OKC scoreboard guy. He let his team down by making a mistake Joey had to fix. By the way it feels wrong defending Joey.

Because the scoreboard keepers made a mistake about the bonus and it would have been live play if (when) the free throw was missed.

He's corrupt in that the power's went to his head, and he believes that he as a referee should have an influence over a game. Remember when he shoved Scola in the 09 playoffs?

WRONG, it is joeys job to fix the scoreboard BEFORE he handed Durant the ball, but go ahead and defend this a$$.

Its ridiculous how some refs are still being employed. The same people are still around from the games that were caught being rigged in the past

Actually, we have no idea. I have no access to his watching his banks accounts, and I don't think any of the rest of us do either.

I've never seen a ref do a headbutting like maneuver right in front of a player shooting a 3-pointer. That really makes zero sense at all. Maybe like a high school referee in their first game could make a mistake like that, just not having any clue where to be.

But the man is either really loosing it or something else is going on.
