Cool to see it broken down like this. HWY 99 will be the longest beltway once completed. Texas, mayne!!

Assume 45 South, almost 50 miles. 290 is gonna be great once the construction is completed... supposedly 2016. They also need to keep the rust off the concrete pillars at 290 and the Belt. Poorly planned ramps.
It's already nice for us Katy folks. Made it to Surfside in 70 minutes the other day thanks to 99 being open all the way from 10 to 59. Cut down 752 and 1462 over to 288.
Like you don't know how BIG 50+miles (Katy to Baytown) is? You need this to tell you? BoooOOoOOo. If it is NOT closed, it will not be a "beltway." Spoiler Beltway 8 IS a belt.
LOL, appears HWY 146 encloses it... keeping it a limited access highway from beginning to end. Stop hating on the future longest beltway in the world!! Texas, mayne!!
Funny images Post some proof that says beltways must be enclosed. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Beltways_in_the_United_States
Naw, that's not how it works. 146 already overlaps with Highway 90 from Dayton to just East of Liberty before it splits off and starts heading North towards Livingston. Along that stretch you see signage for both 146 as well as 90. That's likely how 99 will work in between Baytown and League City. Two names, dual signage, same road.
Let me check... NOPE, I don't believe you can tell me what to do, sir. I will do no such thing. A belt is closed. A partial beltway is one that isn't closed. A beltway is a major thoroughfare that skirts a city. A skirt is ALWAYS closed, and sometimes it has slits, but that cause you to slobber and slip and then fail.
Ahh, the reply of a defeated man with no evidence. Enjoy the longest Beltway in the world once completed. BTW- Skirts are constantly OPEN around me.
