This is one of the most competitive first rounds I can remember. Even in the East Washington took care of the veteran Bulls in 5 and it looks like Atlanta has a good shot at knocking out Indiana.

If they get past OKC and the Spurs are eliminated by the Mavs, Memphis is no longer a dark horse. They're one of the favorites to reach the Finals.

They are probably close to a coin flip against the Clippers.

He would be beaten down by stupid fans who can't look at the bigger picture. It's hard being a bench player but you just have to produce. And Lin was absolutely awful in every respect except effort in the last game.

The best shot at slowing Miami down is to force them to play big. Would be a fascinating series. It would come down to whether Miami's defense can force enough turnovers.

Miami would go on some crazy runs playing small. Though, it would exhaust the smallball PF.

Wow, this season makes me so sad we're getting pounded into submission by the Blazers. With the Spurs and OKC having such a tough time the West would've been ours for the taking this year :(

I think Memphis takes a series against Miami.

No interior size for Miami, and Memphis' grinding style basically throttles their speed and athleticism over time.

The longer the series goes, the more in favor it is for Memphis.

Miami better hope that Memphis doesn't make it out of the West. Worst possible match up along with the Spurs.

According to pakattak's formula that is 1.5 points per OT.

This is crazy. Where the hell has Kevin Durant been? After having Jordan-like season he is once again dissapearing in the playoffs. I am starting to think, is he a real superstar? Again, he had a chance to tie the game up with 27,5 seconds to go in the overtime, yet he MISSED a free throw (88% on the season). Than, he got a pretty good look at a winner but of course it bounced off...

This guy is shoting 40/30 on the series and to me is playing like garbage. I know Westbrook ain't better but at least he got a triple double tonight but still, it doesn't defend his horrible play in the OT's.

Memphis will win this series and the one responsible will be Scott Brooks. Charles Barkley was right about KD, he has to have a post game for them to succeed. They's puting 6'5 Allen on him and all he is trying to do is to dribble around Allen time and time again. This is pathetic.

Will this have any effect on who's voted MVP?? I wouldn't vote for a guy on a team that is out in the 1st round, though Durant is well deserving and Lebron is not.

MVP is a regular season award. What happens now should have no bearing
