NBA to rescind Game 4 Technical on Dwight Howard...

NBA admits Houston lost 2 games on bad calls, Portland fans claim refs are against them.

Only brain dead idiots could claim the reffing is against them when the league admits to not just 1, but 2 of your 3 wins were manufactured by them.

 

This series has brought back all the old, bitter memories of the refs screwing us in previous playoffs. It sucks. I want to support my team, but I really don't want to support the NBA. Yet given the collective bargaining agreement I can't support one without supporting the other.

FWIW, I skimmed the major sports forum in China Hupu.com. And the Rockets are one of the biggest(if not the biggest, as I can't be certain) team forums on there. And the Rockets fans there also are curious as to why the NBA would favor Portland of all teams and screw the Rockets instead.

 

This sums it all up in a nutshell. This is the same **** that Tracy and Yao went through. Now people will be getting on either Harden or Howard for not getting past the 1st round as a Rocket. When it is very clear that the Bush League doesn't want the Rockets to advance.

 

Yeah, I'm probably going to reach a point where I file the NBA in the same category as the WWF, and disregard it as a serious sport.

ESPN & TNT invested a lot of money into airing Laker games thinking Dwight would have been there. On ^TOP^ of that, Lakers organization are butt hurt & has a ton of money to pay off refs.

 

Ridiculous. If these game were blowouts I wouldn't care so much, but they were tied up at the end of regulation.

Appeared the violation was Dwight's tossing the ball away after he didn't get the call. Wasn't egregious, but it's a borderline tech that gets called 50% of the time. NBA does look silly for these reversals though. What's the point when the damage is already done? Until they start replaying games and/or modifying points, it doesn't much.

 

No, it was for an "elbow" he supposedly threw.

I'm reiterating my previous idea to implement the same rule tennis players have. A coach should have 3 calls per game to request a review of a call. In basketball you can stop the clock so there is no problem whatsoever to do those reviews. There is much more sense in doing the reviews based on a coach dissatisfaction than based on referee confusion (among themselves).

Wake up. There is too much money on the rockets for them to ever risk a game 7. We are much richer than those poor r****ded idiots and have money to bet on our team. They didnt even know the blazers existed until the playoffs. They camt watch them on tv and they had the most unsold tickets last year. Look for portland to blow us out next game or end it in 6.

Bet all of your savings on the spurs winning the series against portland because the nba is pumping up the blazers to get dismantled by the spurs. Everyone in houston thinks they are unstoppable, dont be stupid and put money on them. Put it on the spurs.

I feel sorry for Howard & Yao. They have been officiating so unfairly because they're the Houston Rockets.
