Man a lot of those fouls that were called anybody could have made the right call. These refs agenda is to help the Blazers advance at any means necessary. These jokers are paid to be able to keep up with this fast pace action. I don't wont to hear any excuses to why these clowns keep making the wrong damn calls. **** is ridiculous.
Lmao I was watching the stream and I heard the talking between them too. Even though Reggie was kind of a dick last night, he had some valid points.
What is ridiculous is your assertion that "these refs agenda is to help the Blazers advance at any means necessary". Grow up.
I think the agenda is to keep these games close at the end. It's just that the Blazers have executed better, have hit ridiculous shots and the Rockets have had costly turnovers that have given Portland the wins. That's my conspiracy theory
In this photo it appears that Lillard fouled Lin as Lin moved along the baseline. Lin should have been shooting fouls at the other end. What's more, the foul surely slowed Lin down slightly, allowing Mo Williams to close the gap.

What's more, a ref had a clear view of the foul. Pause the following video at 15 seconds: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vh_wLpQjh6k How does the ref not call that?
The refs are so bad that I'm considering leaving the NBA. I don't recall officiating ruining football, however, the long off-season has my memory in shambles. i honestly don't enjoy watching because of the refs. it is that it's always against us. I see bad calls happen both ways. I just don't really buy into the "it even outs" notion. It does not even out. Once an incorrect call is made, whatever would have happened to the game will never be known. Multiply that by 1,000 and you have an NBA game. Why bother?
I'm starting to feel this way, its like I'm trying to turn a w**** into a wife. I know whats happening right in front of my eyes.
You can make the argument for game 2 and 3 but not for game 1 and 4. Those two games were clearly in the favor of the Trailblazers. Come on man, they called a T on Howard for elbowing the Blazers player in the head and till this day, as I post this nobody can find where the elbow to the head was.
that was not a foul. he did not extended his shoulder nor his right arms. it was a normal motion when driving forward to the basket.
That Beverley tech in game 1 still pissed me off when fridge went right in the refs face and the ref just ignored it
I still dont understand why sactown, elgnogmo, and therealist post in these threads and in the garm. We know they dont watch rockets games, but they always want the loudest opinions. They are all heat fans. And why is it every other fan who shares this board with us rockets fans hate the rockets? Is this how all nba fans of other teams feel about the rockets? I understand it when thunder and lakers fans hate on the rockets, and even mavs, jazz, and spurs fans because of the (texas) rivalries. But it seems like the rockets are the bad guys. Other team fans here what they say on espn or tnt when they mention us and they get programmed like robots to dislike the rockets. That is the only explanation i can think of. As for the officiating, those who disagree with me are either r****ded or they havent been watching the games. It is not hard to know whats up. Just go to twitter and read what neutral fans are posting on espn comments about the series. They are saying the nba is rigged, and that they loved watching the series and wish it were longer.
The blazers have one of the largest arenas and they had the most unsold tickets last year. I think the bandwagon in portland after this series took off and the poor city of portland will ride them until they suck again. Cant wait for the spurs to kick their team and fans out of the playoffs. They dont deserve to win this series.
Lil dude that is my opinion so miss me with the childish rants. LOL Grow up, there are some clowns on this board.
I still remember that Michael Finley game. He was clearly out of bounds, by several feet, when he knocked the ball out of John Barry's hands. And I still remember his post-game interview, when they asked him if he was out of bounds and he just smiled and said 'I don't know'. That made me so mad. I love the Rockets. I do. But I'm honestly not sure about Mo Williams being out of bounds or not. When I saw it live I thought that he was. I looked at replays, and I just can't tell if he was out of bounds or not. I don't think that he was out of bounds clearly enough for the NBA to issue an apology.
