    The Rockets certainly lucked out in signing Daniels because they were not the only team interested the former VCU star.

    According to Jared Zwerling of Bleacher Report, the Atlanta Hawks, Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, Milwaukee Bucks and Orlando Magic all had interest in signing Daniels before he inked his deal with the Rockets.

    While the Bulls, Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers, Milwaukee Bucks and Orlando Magic were all interested in Daniels in February, the Rockets needed offense after waiving the seldom-used Ronnie Brewer. Daniels is currently signed to a prorated minimum of $158,588, per Spotrac.com, and he has a contract for next season with a non-guaranteed clause that ceases on Jan. 6.

    According to Zwerling,his agent, John Spencer also had to convince to pass up more money in Australia to play in the D-League and get noticed by NBA scouts.

    Daniels played in just five games during the regular season.

    This is probably the most confident I've been about a game in this series. I just feel like Portland might take it a bit more lightly considering the comfortable situation they are in.

    I hope I'm wrong but it's over... Not unless Harden step it a notch. Would the real Harden please stand up? You don't have any KD/WB to save your ass right now.

    I hope for once the Rockets realise this is it and they keep out blazing!! That means:
    A) Playing defense, making hustle plays, diving for loose balls, calling timely time-outs (not just when Lin had the ball, also when Howard was on the floor and Harden just stood there)
    B) Rockets move the ball and their bodies to get Blazers defenders out of position before attacking
    C) Harden just turns his whole game around
    D) Howard will be involved in more pick and rolls
    E) Plays are run for Daniels
    F) Garcia / Casspi gets playing time
