A Katy middle school teacher has been removed from campus after she allegedly had an improper relationship with a student, officials said.

Heather Miller, 46, is charged with improper relationship with student following an alleged incident Sunday at Katy Junior High, according to a court documents filed in the case.

Officials with Katy Independent School District said a police officer on routine patrol spotted Miller and a 14-year-old student in Miller's portable classroom in the evening.

No other details about the case were released.

Miller, a social studies teacher, has been removed from campus and placed on administrative leave.

District officials sent parents a message about the case.

Miller is free on $50,000 bond, according to court documents.

You really do not understand America politics or sentiment...... which I do not blame you for, as you live in America. FYI being an American does not make you an expert on American politics, and following American politics closely does not make me anything close to an expert either - something that I never even hinted to begin with.

Of course there are racists on both sides. The two sides have always been close, getting closer, and both swiftly moving to the right. The two parties have always tried to artificially exaggerate their minor differences - in marketing it's called Product Differentiation e.g. Coke and Pepsi acting like they are worlds apart - but in reality these two groups have always and now more than ever stood together on the core issues that benefit the owners of the country. The fact that they occasionally have a fruitless spat over birth control or slavery or racism does not really change that, nor are those positions ever completely limited to the entirety of one or the other party.

It's just amazing to me that Donald Sterling could be a democrat or a republican, and those are the two parties will inevitably win every election in sight. From the responses it looks like he's a registered Republican who may have donated to the Democratic party. That's just unbelievable, and if you don't see what's wrong with that then I don't think you're looking out for the things which are hurting Americans and non-Americans alike.

 

What is unbelievable? Surely you don't think America is the only country in the world with racists who contribute to political parties that inevitably win elections.

What is on display once again is the mechanism through which millions of Americans are intentionally misinformed every single day. Republicans and their media were looking to get the stench of Bundy’s racism off of themselves, so they latched on to inaccurate story that Donald Sterling is a Democrat.

Fox News and others can’t be bothered with fact checking. All they cared about was finding a racist to pin on Democrats so that they could even the score.

For conservative media, facts are irrelevant. It’s all about finding a way to justify their own racism, and adoption of race based political tactics. Most of the conservatives who claimed that Sterling is a Democrat still have not corrected their articles, and the truth is that many of them probably won’t.

The point is to confuse and muddy the waters. If Republicans convince people that Democrats are racists too, their own racism doesn’t look so bad.

Instead of solving the problem, Fox News and the rest of right wing media made it worse, because Donald Sterling’s political affiliation is now an issue, and the Clippers owner now shares a spot with fellow Republicans Ted Nugent, George Zimmerman, and Cliven Bundy in the Republican Racist Hall of Shame.

I would say the action of registering as a Republican, followed by the subsequent lack of action to change that registration trumps the much older action of giving money to Democrats in the early '90s. For God's sake, some people thought Hootie and the Blowfish were "the bomb" in the early 90s, we all did things that we shouldn't have back then.

 

The single strand of truth remaining on the disrobed and shamed texxxican emperor - forced to soften his tone and choose his words carefully because the conservative media, once again, pushed bigtexxx into traffic and wandered away.
