You sir are the biggest Moron here. Generally, I don't speak ill of others, but for you there is a special treatment.

“I think he’s extremely accurate,” Pettine said after the pro day in late March at the NFL owners meeting. “You can tell he’s a very cerebral quarterback. He understands the game very well, understands coverages, that kind of jumps off the tape at you. To me, he seems very unfazed by things. He plays very well under pressure. He’s a guy that’s NFL-ready. It doesn’t seem to be too big for him. He kind of has that calming presence out there. Some quarterbacks get real emotional, get real fired up, and he’s not that. He kind of has that quiet confidence about him.”

    Very interesting comments on Teddy...

But this is what the same coach said about Blake as well.

    http://touch.orlandosentinel.com/#section/-1/article/p2p-79802299/?related=true

"He has all the measurables," Pettine said. "If you look at him, if you said draw me an NFL quarterback, that's probably who you'd draw. I think the thing that's impressive about him is his ability in crunch time in a lot of tight games, a lot of come-from-behind wins, you can see he's confident, can make all the throws. I think he's a better athlete than some people give him credit for."

I think what he said about Blake is accurate. He is all of those things. It's just when Blake has those Jay Romo/Tony Cutler moments every game that everyone is worried about. You don't see those in Teddy's game.

No. It's an accurate description of him. Check his weight and wonderlic for proof.

I was referring to personal insults directed at other posters, which you are fond of. Those have no place on this board.

So a 12 min test can decide if you're smart or dumb? Yea that makes sense.....

Are you saying that you wouldn't be touting his wonderlic score as evidence that you were right about him all along if he'd scored a 30+?

Heck no. I dont care about that. When I brag on Teddy its about his game play not some meaningless 12 min test. If he scored off the charts I wouldnt care. Calling the guy dumb is ridiculous.

If I call you a fat ass texan, it wouldn't be an insult. It would be an accurate description of you based on your handle.

    No?

Scoring a 20 on the Wonderlic is considered stupid now? I thought that was the acceptable level.

I think that dumb is definitely an exaggeration. However, I think his pro-style knowledge is overrated. Other intelligent QBs have the ability to learn this.

You can't teach size, arm, or intangibles. Has Bridgewater peaked?

So Bridgewater is skinny and does not take tests well.... OK, fair enough.

    But, he's also:
    1) Elite pocket presence
    2) Tough as nails
    3) Great on 3rd down
    4) Ability to make checks at the line
    5) Ability to make something out of nothing
    6) Can make all the throws
    7) A good person

So I'm not principally against Bridgewater, but there's no way you draft him 1.1 If you're going to draft him, given his declining value, you either have to hope he's there at 2.1 or trade WAY back and pick up assets.
