from what i read on trailblazer boards, they seem pretty confident and surprised in some cases this one is over.
at this point the goal is to take one game at at time and somehow get it to 3-3 where anything is possible.

we have had no problems getting a lead in games, if we could just hold them this series would be ending the next game.

Exactly. The Rockets held leads in most of the series but couldn't close it out b/c of the matador defense by our perimeter players.

I don't think real Bev showed up... He's pressure D hasn't been all that great in this series... Furthermore, his shots aren't falling and s a starting point guard, his job is to move the ball has been atrocious.. Of course Harden get's to play PG most of the time, but still no excuse for 6 total assists in 4 games...

Only bright thing is Dwight and Daniels in this series...

you can play matador d in the regular season and win games, actually a lot of games can be won this way especially if you outscore the opponent.

we gave up 125 points. no way can you win a playoff game scoring that many points. we have to keep opponents to about 110-115 to have a chance.

What was up with Bev's turn over in the last possession? man Westley Mathews really hustled.

Yeah Beverley got stripped bad. But no ones saying anything about that since his name is not Jeremy Lin.

That's because history is on their side. Coming back from a 3-1 deficit ain't an easy task. It almost never happens. And the teams that have pulled it off were way better and more poised than this one.

Well being up 2 with 30 seconds left and all you have to do is protect the ball is different than being down 3 with 8 seconds left trying to move the ball across the court for a chance at a game tying 3.

One you have to be smarter to protect the lead while the other you are trying to make a play at the odd chance you can try to tie the game.

Of course the Lin apologists don't see that. Not saying that Lin's mistake cost us the game but to compare the two is asinine. Lin has to be smarter, anyone that debates that is either blind or just doesn't ever blame him.

It has nothing to do with blame, and everything to do with the situation. Lin's turnover was boneheaded, and completely asinine on every level, and he continues to make the same mistakes over and over again. If he just relaxes, and calls for a timeout, the Rockets are headed back to Houston tied 2-2. Beverley's turnover, on the other hand, was in a desperate moment where the odds were stacked against us. Bringing the ball up with 7 seconds left and no timeouts, in a situation where he HAS to find the open 3 point shooter while Matthews was pressing hard is difficult. Does he need to be more careful? Yes. Was it on Jeremy Lin's level? No.

we'll win the next game.. there were refs didn't get their Vegas bets in and they told them to stretch the series longer so they could have more action. heh

You sure about that? The Spurs aren't looking unbeatable right now. And what if the Mavs pull off the upset? You think they can't be beat? This is why I'm so PO'd right now at McHale. They lose this series and they're not only throwing away a shot at the 2nd round, but going deep into the playoffs.

Dont you think that we have seen him enough to know this is him? But I also blame our coach, he must leave after this season.

Yes, the guy shooting 35% with a .400 something TS% over 4 games is the same guy who has shot 46% with a .600+ TS% over 2 full seasons.

His defense sure, what we have seen in the playoffs is what we have seen for 2 years, but so far Harden has played like Harden 1 time in these 4 games on offense.

at this point i'm all out of words to post.

they just have to win from here on out at least for the season to be respectable or we have not improved over last season.

Harden just plays really badly this game. Not making any efforts on D. Lin is bad but at least he tries to defend. However, the loss is on Lin. But.. no body wants him at this juncture at his ballooned payroll.
