The way we are playing, it will need miracle to win game 7. We probably will win next game. But Portland will win the series 4-2.
I believed when we were down 0-2, but not anymore Lin or McHale will find a way to **** it up in the 4th quarter.
The fix is already in, no way the refs would extend this to 7 unless the Sterling's situation is still the talk of every major media outlet.
This series has made me despise Portland outside of LMA. If the Refs literally were alright.. we are 2-2.
Sorry but there's optimism and there's realism. Here's what I feel needs to happen as far as what we can control: - McHale NEEDS to use more than 8 players, it's that simple, if he doesn't say goodbye to the season on wednesday - Harden NEEDS to at least try on defense and be aggressive on offense. Stop sulking if Howard gets more touches than you! - Daniels NEEDS to play at least 20 minutes a game - Lin SHOULD play less - We NEED to get out on the break and play our own game, still have not done that
There is no way this series does not go 7. Rockets have played go enough to win. I can't wait to see Williams face when it does go 7.
I hope that Bush league **** Williams pulled after the game pissed our guys off. Along with the horrible calls
I stated earlier the Blazers have one Superstar, two stars in Nic and Damian. One good defensive Center and a defensive SG that can go off for 18+ pts at times. They have nothing fancy but they are a legit team. A more cohesive Rocket team without that much individual talent but smoother and like clockwork. The only thing they have in common with the Rockets their bench is relatively thin. They have more fire power, divided on more players. We have one defensive Allstar, one offensive Allstar, some good but not great starters but as a whole unit we lag behind. We have the more established stars at two positions but they are flawed at one end. Blazers had more time to gel. That is what you get drafting high end players. They stick around longer and become the foundation. I doubt that Harden has incorporated everything that stands for Houston and the ClutchCity days just yet. The only positive aspect is Portland is a good matchup and despite the results 4 close games suggest that and also all the regular season games we hardly blew them out. (3-1 regular season)
This. Personally, I don't think they defeat us legitimately. It's taking acts of divine intervention each time, so if we'd just ignore the hurdles and play ball like we know we can, I don't see how they can beat us. Maybe the percentages of being down 3-1 are miniscule, but how many of those in that situation put up with the bs that we've put up with? It will, however, take overcoming that and playing ball like we know we can to do this. That remains to be seen. Maybe Mo's antics will light a fire under these guys.
Rockets in 7 -H&H PNR -Asik out of foul trouble -Chandler stays awake and no lazy TOs -Jones stays awake -Trust Troy Daniels more -Jeremy in less crunch minutes -McHale with less "OMG WE DID THAT?" paralysis -Contain Aldridge to game 3 levels -Make Batum/Lillard uncomfortable Who's with me?
