I wonder if he can shoot off screens. It's be nice to have someone we can run off a bunch of screens and hit threes, Reggie Miller style.
Why is harden not an option in this pole? I guarentee you if dwight howard could lead a team of marginal players all the way to the finals, without James harden we could at least get out of the first round... Unbelievable how bad this guy is when opponents actually play hard come playoff time. People blaming Bev missed box out for game 1 loss, jeremy Lins turnover for this one. Well how bout harden literally shooting our team out of the game and turning he ball over while at the same time playing some of the worst defense I've ever seen in the NBA playoffs. The game comes down to matchups. DH > Lopez Asik < LMA Parsons = Batum Harden > Matthews Beverley < Lillard We are very evenly matched that's why these games have been so close. Then it comes down to our bench and we have our great 6 man Lin while the Blazers have Mo Williams. Mo > Lin and he makes half as much as Lin.
Yes we can blame Lin but we should be looking at the coach. I mean it was so obvious he would turn the ball over.. Should've never had him in the game at that point
I blame McHale for having Lin at the end of game situations, his ball handling is terrible. Like DD said he's so unaware of the game situation
bev is the starter, insaneman. why you have to find a scapegoat for everything? not right in your head. lin is an ok bench guy
Troy has been the lone silver lining from this series. And at least we know where Lin will end up next season. We were really not expected to contend for WCF yet, but heck, I wanted to get out of 1st round. Maybe we still have a chance, as long as we bench Lin in the endgame. Got it, coaches? The series was (is going to be) lost in Game 1. And in all 4th quarters, all the Rockets starters have shown a propensity to panic and fail to execute. Would better preparation and more plays have solved that? Maybe. But even doing the basic stuff, we have failed. Again there's always next year, but Morey, clean up the roster of NPAs (non-performing assets). I don't mind DLeaguers as long as they produce like Troy.
Less Lin period. I don't really care who replaces him. We know Lin isn't good enough. Time to try something else.
