Relax. Things like this happens and they suck ass, but its not like he's the only player tonight who made bad plays at the inopportune moments. Yes, Lin is to blame because he was the one who made us go into overtime, and he shouldn't escape criticism. But Bev turned it over when we had a shot to win. Parsons couldn't guard Batum to save his life in the 4th. Harden was turning it over left and right until he got hot. Remember: if everybody else played a perfect game, Lin's turnover wouldn't have matter at all... unfortunately the nature of the playoffs dictates that we have to blame one person and ignore the circumstances leading up to it, right? We should check our "Lin should get run over by a bus" posts and talk more about how worrisome it is that we couldn't think of a single play besides dump it to Howard or hero-ball by Harden for the last 10 minutes of the game. That is what scares me rather than one unlucky turnover - if we play like this, we have no chance against the elite teams regardless of whether we make it out of the first round or not.
Lin's mistake did cost the Rockets the chance to win in regulation. His play in games 1 and 3 gave them a chance to win. This play at the end of regulation in game 4 was avoidable and hurt the Rockets in a crucial situation. All that said, the Blazers were the better team in the second half. This is still a series. They just need to regroup for game 5 and win that one convincingly.
Again, the only way Lin even somewhat redeems himself is if he shows up and plays ****ing great the next 3 games and we win all 3. How you don't pass that ball off to harden is beyond dumb
name one thing that Jeremy Lin can do well???? f*******kn Jeremy Lin choking our seasons away again and again he cant do f***kn ***** out there on the court. why the***** does he still get minutes in the playoff?!?!?!?!?!?!? THE PLAYOFFS!!! THE PLAYOFFS!!!!!
It is not entirely Lin's fault; the refs called it wrong. But why dribble to the sideline where a mistake or steal could happen?
you guys are so irrational...all the Rockets made numerous mistakes..last plays ends with bev getting ripped Rockets are young and are one of the most turnover prone team in the league...why yall acting like this was going to change in the playoffs...hell the big play in game 3 was harden getting ripped..lin saving the ball and passing to daniels...Rockets are sloppy...they'll be better as they grow up
You must not know basketball. no disrespect. Yes it is a team sport but, one play is all it takes for the W or the L especially with seconds left in the game. Seasons most likely over. He got lucky Troy saved him in game 3. Not this time unfortune cookie nately.
A fair assessment. It is correct to say that had Lin took care of the ball on that 1 play that the Rockets had a pretty good chance of winning, but there were a lot of things that the Blazers did well in the second half to outplay the Rockets. Batum being the big key.
A truth? This thread is nothing but a bunch of grown men crying and cussing out one of our players. Disgraceful, the fact that mods or clutch haven't locked this thread makes me loose respect for this forum.
