ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Blazers 4/27/2014 (Playoffs Round 1, Game 4)

All you Lin bashers need to just shut up. The team lost. I am not a Lin lover but everyone on the Rocket's that played screwed up at some point in the game. Deal with it. The problem is that this team does not know how to hold on to a lead once they get it. Plain and simple.

I dont even feel like watching game of thrones. Im way too pissed. This could have been over 30 minutes ago had lin just passed it up to parsons OR if the refs would have actually called williams out of bounds.

 

Seriously. DO NOT put him in the last minute of regulation from here on out. He was saved in Game 3, but tonight the Rockets weren't so lucky. And BTW, let's not forget his intentional foul when the Rockets didn't need one in Game 2. Had the Blazers missed, we might've been able to tie that one up and force OT(again).

 

Are you a ****int moron? Seriously, did your parents beat you over the head with a baseball bat to discipline you as a child? The game should never have gone to overtime, twice in a row we have the lead with less than a minute and God himself gives Portland the ball back.

All Lin fans like you need to ****ing bury yourselves in a whole until he is traded. You make me ****ing sick.

Mo Williams standing way the **** out of bounds on the infamous Lin play. The refs reared their ugly head yet again.

Too much blame game on the Rockets. Very little credit to teammates all year for several years. Kind of feel sorry for the players to play in this kind of environment. Could be more energy expended on each other rather than the opponent. Personally think this is the fault of the coaching. Noticed Finch seems to be well in the background now. Certainly not lead assistant.

 

D league guy is now the only dependable shooter on the team while Portland is filled with shooters

 

Jeremy Lin in the last 5 mins of OT was sooo bad.... literally did nothing, shouldve at least put on some pompoms on the bench and cheered but just stood there and watched. I blame his lack of team spirit in OT cheering for the team.

 

And to those saying not to blame the refs.. are you guys stupid?

- Dwight called a timeout during the scuffle no call...
- Ball was not off Dwight and Batum hits a 3 on the ensuing possesion
- Beverly fouls Batum clearly on the fastbreak.. .no call gives up 2
- Harden gets fouled on 3 point shot no call?

Is that not getting screwed over?

how many late-game leads rockets... it's been so many years and not even the same players. clutch city my ass.

 

This game not only makes the series 3-1, also shows how weak this team is. No defense, no leadership, bad coach, bunch of overrated players.

Also i don't understand why McHale gives up on TT in 4th qtr when it's working.

 

Lin stuffed up big time in this game. I hope this doesn't scar him for life.

 

We are fight 5 against 8 the whole time. So many calls not made against Portland. They blew the call in game 1 on Howard and lost us the game, and this game they again call the ball out of bound against Howard when definitely it was Aldridge who hit the ball out of Howard's hand. These are game changing calls, too many against us. So pathetic.

 

These teams are so evenly matched. The Rockets could easily be up 3-1 in this series.

I just think the Blazers have played with more poise in closing minutes. Neither Beverley or Lin have been adequate running the point in this series.

 

Now lets think on what this thread would of looked like if Lin didnt go full r****d at the end of the 4th and passed to Parsons instead of fumbled the ball.
