Batum is a better rebounder but also turns the ball over at a much higher rate.
chandler's appeal was that he was both good looking and a good player, when you only have one, you lose that aura
What are you talking about? Really no reason to post this inane crap. He has played almost as well in the playoffs as he did in the regular season. He is shooting at a slightly lower rate but not turning the ball over and playing excellent defense.
I just checked out the video. They go on to say that Chandler expressed his desire to be on the next season of the Bachelor (????). They then went on to say that there's 19 cameras in an NBA arena, and he should focus on looking good in front of them by winning first. Harsh, but accurate.
Lol at this bias. I don't give a crap about the contract, Batum is the better player, more athletic, better shooter and a much better Defender.I Hope Morey will Not overpay for him.
Jalen was the dick that undercut Mario Ellie. I'll never forget that. He's a low-life. That being said Chandler is probably still burning from the snub he received earlier from team USA and he manifested it in a stupid way by saying he's the best SF in the series. But as a young player you make mistakes, and hopefully learn from them. Hopefully Chandler learned from his goofy mistake. Hopefully Rose's comment can light a fire under Chandler. He had a really good game 1, but was not a factor at all in games 2 and 3. If all of our starters come through at a similar rate to the way the did during the regular season, we'd have a solid chance at winning. It's just about everyone putting it together at the same time. Portland's D has been good this series. Time for the Rockets to kick it up a notch.
I have a hard time believing we would be as good as we are if we had Batum rather than parsons... And I think the Blazers would be much better with Parsons rather than Batum... But they are very similar so this is just opinion.
Checking online, it happened in 96. Ellie went in for a score and while he was in the air, Rose knocked into him from behind. Mario fell and broke his arm. It also dislocated a couple of other bones.
