here come the straw man arguments.

instead of commenting on the issue at hand, let's discus things that have absolutely no correlation to the topic at hands to deflect blame and throw it back at other people.

Everybody that has been following the NBA over the past decade knows how racist Sterling is...this doesn't really come as a surprise. CP3 knew it, Rivers knew it, yet they came there. The only problem is that it became public now and they are forced to do something. All those comments about Mexicans and Minorities, the lawsuits that were filed...have all been common knowledge. They wanted to play for a racist lowlife.

The thing that surprises me the most is that Sterling is Jewish, talking about Minorities like that is a "Clayton Bigsbie" complex in a sort of way. The jews have been oppressed countless times , its just so hypocritical to act in such a fashion.

Also, nothing will happen to Sterling. The fool has been longest tenured NBA owner, predating even Stern. Silver can't do anything to him.

exactly. that's why the players and the fans should do something.

He made a racist comment in private. Most people have done that.

This is what we call projection, be careful.

You have no proof that 'Most people have done that' especially to this extent. Oh and joking with your black friend that he eats fried chicken is not even close to the level of the things he said in this call. Not. Even. Close.

They have now cancelled their 2nd lifetime achievement award to Sterling... But they've already given him one before. Hate to say it but the NAACP already honoring Sterling and Rivers leaving Boston for the Clips ($$$, road to title) are reminiscent of the Africans who sold out their fellow countrymen to slavelords for $$$. This would have been a lot more meaningful if they had taken a stand initially. +1 of you agree (and understand what I'm saying)

At first I thought it was her makeup but I've confirmed that it's plastic surgery gone wrong. She's hideous if you think about it. My gf has a knack of knowing about plastic surgery in an instant.

    Well thats nice to see.

Its just hypocritical though, its not like this incident is what showed them he was racist.

True, but to play devil's advocate. They have to go where the money is to educate ppl about their cause. African americans in the 1% are not donating anything whatsoever to these causes, and celebs are more interested in flauntng their new money wealth. Perhaps it is time to address that issue.

my thoughts is everybody is overreacting. we all knew he was racist before this came out. however, it's multi billion $ industry and players and coaches will continue to play for them. who's going to say no to millions and living in LA? as long as he doesn't act out on his racist thinking, and equally hire workers of all race and doesn't alienate anyone, he's fine. the team has been fine with him as owner, unless there's something I haven't heard of him discriminating a minority in the NBA. he can be racist in his private life.
