LOL. **** you and **** the Clippers.
So much cockyness for a team that has been utter dog **** compared to the Lakers (and the rest of the league!)for so many years.

How many championships do the Clippers have again?
Can't wait until the Clippers fall back into mediocrity and you and your franchise become an afterthought to the Lakers like you always have been. Enjoy the few seasons of false hope!

You are the moron running around trying to sweep the incident under the rug and defending Sterling because it might distract your precious Clippers.

You guys think Sterling kept the "Clippers" name because it's a moniker to circumcision? Clippy Clippers... No Foreskin after the Clippy....

Some states only require the consent of one person to record a conversation. If she is the one that recorded it then it may well be legal.

I'm not defending Sterling. I think he's a POS. I am not surprised by this because it's not like it's anything new. Sterling has actively discriminated against blacks and hispanics in his real estate dealings, and that is way worse than something said in an ostensibly private conversation.

However, this has nothing to do with basketball. I don't care who owns the team I cheer for. I imagine most owners, being very wealthy individuals, have done some unscrupulous things to get there. I watch the game because I enjoy basketball. Nothing more, nothing less. Not everything has to be some political statement. If that were the case, I wouldn't wear Nike or shop at Walmart.

Incorrect on 50% of that. Intelligence is multi-dimensional, so your judgment call there seems rather ignorant. Actually, all of it is stupid, depending on how you define success- again, anther gray area. But it doesn't surprise anyone on here of your ignorance. Shame.

They have damn good prices. Same as the Clippers in the past, btw.

If this isn't new, and Sterling has actively discriminated against minorities prior to this, then how do you defend ANY player especially minority players accepting a contract to play for the man? Wouldn't you essentially have to call this "selling out?" Doesn't it go beyond the man and his statements?

Sure, you can argue semantics as much as you want, but by objective measures (something I'd think any fan of Moreyball would appreciate), Cuban is way more intelligent and successful than anyone here.

I don't think they need to be defended. They are professionals and, as such, are playing for money. Most employees do not take into account the personal beliefs of the CEO when accepting a job. They just want a paycheck. I'm sure your owner has skeletons in his closet too.

I don't think most employees have as their boss a known racist. I also would point to the recent sacking of the Mozilla CEO as an example of someone who's employees very much cared about the personal beliefs of the CEO.

And when those personal beliefs go public, that is when they get dismantled by the media and ousted from their positions.
