McHale overall did better last night but still had major coaching flaws. Rox just had more luck last night overall than in the first two games at home. Parsons fouling out pretty much saved the Rox season last night. I guarantee if he didn't foul out the Rox would have lost. Rox will still need Parsons to step up if they want to possibly win this series but he doesn't warrant the leash he gets from McHale. Also, McHale's refusal to give Dmo a chance the way Tjones has been playing is baffling.
Not alone. Some of this stuff is just ridiculous. You know they are hot when Lopez from mid-range seems automatic.
I stand by my statement. It's gambling. Mchale got a good roll. I wouldn't bet on it happening again.
Lots of adjustments made this game. - Going to the pick and roll early and often - Starting the twin towers to contend with LA - Giving Troy Daniels minutes to add a more consistent threat at the 3 point line This is what the playoffs is about, adjustments. The Blazers really haven't had to yet. It will be telling to see how McHale responds to the adjustments that are sure to come from the Blazers in game 4. If he can't adjust in-game, the series is over barring Harden willing us to a victory. I have faith.
