    .....and we lose the game

Would you be mad at Lin for not throwing the lob to D12? Be honest...

I know i would have! it was the easiest pass to make.

With that being said, we won the game and i am definitely not complaining! :p I'm more or less just curious of y'all honest thoughts

Yeah it sticks out like a sore thumb on the replays, that's for sure.

ppl here are already calling for lin's head even after we won. what do you think woulda happened if we lost? which is kinda funny nobody would have remembered that harden was the one who lost the ball initially. i swear ppl on this board get more joy out of ripping lin than enjoying a playoff win on a gw jumper.

to answer the question for everyone though. of course we would. we all would.

If Harden had made that 3 at the end of regulation in Game 1 we would be up 2-1

if we had just got a rebound off the wes matthews miss, we woulda won game 1 too.

i get what you mean though. it's pointless b/c lotta diff plays in a series this close coulda changed the outcome. this board just focuses on lin's plays more. it's a team game ya'll.

If this WHAT IF had come true, there would have been way more threads talking about Lin's fault and poor decision-making ability at crunch time.

I think I should say I'm so glad Daniels bailed Lin out on that wide open 3. Thank you, Troy, for saving us a lot of threads here at Clutchfans.

It's a hypothetically fun question. Obviously it's a "what if" but it's just a little basketball discussion between us fans. My intentions were to add a yes or no poll and get a vibe on everyones basketball thinking in that situation.

Yes, Lin had the alley to Dwight. Obviously the better percentage play. But it ain't stupid if it works, as someone who doesn't understand the post hoc fallacy once said. Or rather, either no one notices or no one cares. See ya all Sunday!

If the semen that contained Lin's genetic makeup never reached that egg then we never would had to endure the missed layup. God dammit.

I made this thread for "basketball reasons". (Haha) I probably shouldn't have knowing the player involved in the play

I am just glad he made it. This place would have been chaos and Lin might even become the most hated Rockets player.

That's assuming he saw Dwight. In slow mo yeah it's obvious. In real time action.... Hard to say. Think he saw Troy even before he got off the floor.

He picked up a loose ball and found Daniels for a 3 with under 20 seconds left. You can't assume he saw d12. We won. Enjoy it. Nothing to complain about

No, it was tough to see Dwight in that scenario.

If we lost, I would pissed he missed that layup in regulation.actually, even thought we won, I'm still pissed he missed that layup

this seems like one of those moments where the past and present don't matter at all.

that shot transcends space and time.
