am pretty sure if I was in James shoes and a reporter responded with that answer "longer than you have been alive" I would be upset too.

    I think it's disrespectful

What do you expect us to do, IBTL...? Play the role of the battered girlfriend and wholeheartedly support him and ignore the repeated actions of his past because now he's saying things will be different...?

To have reservations on the case of Harden is reasonable... People have a right to have a wait and see approach...

I don't think it's disrespectful. Blinebury's job as a reporter is to get the scoop on who/what/where/when/why about the Rockets. In addition, as stupid as this sounds, Blinebury is a Rockets fan. He has covered them a long time and has some personal investment into the team (time). Harden's response rubbed him the wrong way. Regardless, Harden needs to take responsibility for his play on the court. If he wants Blinebury (and all of the rest of us) to shut up, he needs to step up his game.

He has every right to blast that Journo. He was asked about this scoring, he gave an answer that indicates he feels if the team gets stops the offense from himself and others will start flowing. Then the Journalists keeps focusing on Harden's shooting percentage.

Rather than asking a quality follow up he just tries to poke Harden. These post match interviews are generally usless based on the crappy question asked most of the time.

Rediculous. He was asked about the offense, Harden spoke about how defense and getting stops will lead to easier looks. If Fran followed the Rockets like he is meant too he would know that getting stops is the key to the Rockets offense. Harden understands it and was focused on the big picture rather than himself.

Also sometimes the ball just doesn't go in. Sometimes that happens, you go through a stretch where nothing goes in. If you let that get into your head by focusing on it, it will be more difficult to shake it.

The fact Harden spoke about team defense is a GOOD thing. Focusing on the big picture, the team before himself.

Being a Rockets fans has no bearing on Fran's questioning. It doesn't have any bearing on the type of person he is or his actions. Fran was prodding as if Harden missed his shots on purpose.

37/9/6 2 steals, 1 TO. FG percentages were off but you pretty much nailed it.

Anyone want to give this man his due? Hot sauce?

Not all of his shots were falling, and his defense in some stretches, again, left something to be desired, but there was a sense of urgency about James Harden tonight.

Some people really take "what have you done for me lately" to absurdly extreme lengths...

I actually thought he played really well overall. He's gotta hit more shots, but his defense was acceptable tonight, only 1 turnover, and made a lot of plays. Mchale screws him by not having an offense for him.

As I said in other posts, I think that was a big step in the right direction.

Him saying the pressure is now on the Blazers though after this game is stupid. It's not really on the Blazers. It's on the Rockets. Going down 3-1 is pretty bad as well.

I'm glad Harden mentioned defense, but that wasn't the question posed to him. The question was what was wrong with his shooting/offense. He dodged the question like a pansy.
