Questionable decision on that layup. You almost always want to milk the clock there unless you have a sure thing. It looked like Lin had a clear path and I thought for sure it was going to be a huge bucket. But it wasn't. High risk, high reward. Pretty much sums it up. Nice hustle play at the end though. But don't ANY of you DARE to take credit away from Daniels. Nails.
Lin was also responsible for almost losing the game TWICE, once with a blown layup and once with horrible dribbling. If it weren't for Lin, we wouldn't have been in the position for Harden to lose the game to begin with.
Yep. The issue is compounded by the fact that Aldridge has an amazing midrange game. It's so hard for Howard to come and help on everything when his man can pop from anywhere
Hate is strong when you cant even enjoy this win. We know you don't like him, do you have to bash him relentlessly?
No, he does what he always does. He puts on his Lin goggles and then claims we won because of him as usual. It's the same ole. What's your problem? Maybe you should take your own advice.
Is Lin the only player that commits turnovers? You could literally say that about every player. Every player missed an open shot. Every player committed a turnover.
Nobody, NOBODY, is saying that except for you, stop it. Although it's supposed to be a joke, it's not funny. He has some head scratching plays but he also had some big plays. You must have been waiting for the team to lose so you could have a field day about Lin huh. Just enjoy the f***ing win, Jesus Christ people.
"helpled". Lin helped the rockets win today. That is what he said. Take of YOUR go ogles. Stop being straw manning.
so Parsons and Harden's shooting all night had nothing to do with it either? Get over your hatred of the guy. It's pathetic. They win and lose as a team.
Not that impressed with his attempted bounce passes to Howard (both on the pick and roll, and on the fast break). He gets plenty of opportunities on this team to run the pick and roll along with the fast break. He's a spotty ball-handler, and he makes too many turnovers to be reliably trusted in either scenario. Also not enamored by everybody's scouting report of Lin as far as which team is best for his "skill set". If you're basing this on the 2 weeks of Lin-sanity, that is literally in-sanity. You now have 2 full years of evidence here to see what all his strengths/weaknesses are. I still don't see one overwhelming strength that would have me saying he's doing something that nobody else on this team can do. He's certainly a vital part of THIS team... and like I said earlier, he'll certainly get you some great effort plays, along with some occasional timely shots... but he'll also have some total WTF moments that virtually cancel out all the "good".
even after his errors, Lin made some good plays, got his head taken off and made some clutch shots in OT and showed great hustle/awareness. Lin by no means won us the game, he almost lost us it, but he made some heady plays and showed great resilience to keep fighting.
Umm...Lin was the only one that almost threw the game away TWICE when it was on literally the line? Harden failed at the end of OT, but he's been failing all series for the most part. Lin however, every time he shoots or dribbles, it concerns me. Thankfully he had a good hustle play to mostly redeem himself tonight and it came off a play that also thankfully, did not require him to dribble or shoot.
Hahahaha. Lin and Harden slipped on the SAME SPOT. You give Harden a pass for his TO but blame Lin for almost losing the game twice? Do you even logic?
Such a gloomy Clutchfans crowd in response to a potentially series saving win. I guess it would've made people feel a lot better if Parsons or Beverley had generated 7 out of 11 points in the OT instead of Lin.
Why didn't you make this comment to khyber? Is he "enjoying the win" or is he doing his usual BS work? Strange who you decide to respond to. Why is that? I'm very much enjoying the win and I find it really annoying when some of you try to put these wins in the Lin column instead of team column. Lin was -10 in this game yet his effort won the game. Right.
