I have highlights of Ginobody too. So who is a better passer

    Ginobody or LeBron

You won't answer that because you are stupid Because you know I have you cornered in whatever answer you give

Ginobody fans are stupid. And LeBron fans who think he is a better passé than Tracy mcgrady and Ginobody are stupid too

Bird had sick court vision. Lebron is not on the same planet. How does dominating the ball = better passer?

This is where being older than 17 and actually watching the players in question play comes in. This is worse than idiot in GARM who said Dwight Howard is most similar to Alonzo Mourning.

    Since I'm OP

I get to repost Birds videos on every page as SUBSTANTIAL evidence that kevC can't or refuses to provide

My 25 minutes of Bird has 112 passes. So far in all substantial LeBron videos we have 7 passes

I posted 112 bird passes. The kids have posted. 7 LeBron passes

How is that for substantial proof.

Me...I win this basketball argument as always.

Please prove LeBron is better than TMac at passing. Bird and Magic are on a different planet

larry bird only had 3 seasons over 7 assist per game while lebron has 6.

    those are facts.

"vision" is subjective that can't be proven true or false.

    Define substantial

By your description if I get a compilation of 113 of Chris Bosh's passes, he becomes a better passer than bird.

Proof is also 100% impossible, as bias is always going to exist, thus making it so that it is impossible for you to theoretically win ANY basketball argument

I don't have to define substantial ,,, you do

Not one of you people have said or show anything substantial

    No one of you

I don't need to because your the one that started the argument. Thus you have to set the boundaries of your fiat world.

Your presented your affirmative, and now all I am doing is launching topicality shells

heypartner's arguments would sound like the rantings of an old man gripped by nostalgia, if they weren't so childish. He is right about Bird being a better passer than LeBron though. Those Celtic teams assisted on such a high % of their FGs (certainly higher than any of LeBron's teams) and Bird drew fewer double teams than LeBron. Compared to Bird, many of LBJ's assists are almost rote in nature.

That said, for that same reason LeBron's a more effective passer than T-Mac was. His willingness to bully his way into the lane and draw extra defenders produces more open looks for his teammates than T-Mac ever did. Tracy's vision and anticipation was on the same level, and he could have been just as good if not better than LeBron (and he excelled at throwing skip passes from the perimeter), but he just wasn't aggressive enough. On the upside, that led to him having an almost historically-low turnover % for such a high FGA/high assist player, but he didn't draw the kinds of double teams that LeBron does.

For the purposes of this thread, I'd actually classify Bird as a PF and list LeBron at the 3. Before McHale became a full-time starter, Bird was Boston's de facto starting 4 with Cornbread Maxwell starting at SF.

Nash isn't getting enough love. His assist numbers toward the tail end of his prime were staggering, both in terms of raw per-minute stats and assist percentage. And that was without Amar'e finishing PnRs.

    Magic or Nash
    T-Mac
    LeBron
    Bird
Divac (Walton just committed too many TOVs)

Nah..you are just stupid about basketball.

keep up that theory. It is cute it makes sense to you. but you will never prove the existing theory wrong, until you say something substantial. You can't,,,,not nearly what I just explained and showed.

Do you know how this works. Bird and Magic are the undisputed best passers the game has ever seen. It is up to you to prove that wrong. Yet, my videos proved it. and explanation of Ast% And no one has any substantial proof to dispute it.

I'm an old man and childish. cute dude. is that how you make your point?

So you say I'm right, but childish. That's weird. Go reread my posts. I was correct the whole time...and I'm the only one who explained Ast% correctly.

    And I had backing vids.

    whatever

Apparently you needed to make a post to chime in and make some statement that agreed with me, yet didn't

who cares what you think if you aren't saying anything new.

Is this your attitude at work?

Its funny because I never DISPUTED u were wrong, because I DONT have to

It is IMPOSSIBLE to critique objectively who is the best passer because despite your numbers, there are too many variables, such as the offensive scheme used by the teams the players played for. And guess what? According to your argument, there is no way to provide substantial evidence that I am wrong! Guess you lose, and I win, as always, and expected. Congrats for making it a decent argument though, never expected it from you.

In addition, you still haven't defined substantial, which means you concede topicality, making your whole affirmative useless.

You're the one who posted Bird passing highlights in the first place. All I was doing was showing how futile that was because you can easily find passing highlights of Lebron.

Ginobili is a fantastic passer too. A lot of creativity and instinct. He attempts passes that pretty much no one else tries.
