I have sources close to the coaches who told me the line-up change is coming at the PF spot. They said McHale was up all night trying to decide whether or not to make this change. They said he looked to the past Boston Celtics greats for inspiration, and he thought of Bill Russell. So in the end, McHale decided a change was necessary, and decided to start himself at the PF spot because he feels he can shut down LaMarcus Aldridge. He decided in the end it gives the team the best chance to win. McHale will be the first player-coach since Bill Russell.
You're right...I see someone in a black jersey shooting FTs..could be Dmo. The mystery continues.. lol!
I'm a huge McHale supporter but man he has been out coached BIG time so far this series. I can't even deny it...
There's always a good time to perfect the craft of the behind the back. You never know when you'll need it.
I know nobody else even cares, but it bothers me when I can't figure stuff like this out lol. Based on the shoes of the mysterious person shooting FTs right before Asik, I have identified him as Parsons. Same hideous red shoes he's wearing in the passing drill.
how come the chuckster was so good at slowing down LMA? he was super undersized. someone, maybe it was the podcast i listened to earlier, said that you need to body up on LMA to get him out of rhythm (before he even touches the ball). why can't you just ask someone to play really physical D on him for every minute he is out on the court?
See, I wish you would've come in here before I spent the last 10 minutes of my life watching that video on a loop.
Where? I see D-Mo shooting 3's in the background in a white jersey while Asik is shooting free throws right at the beginning of the video...
lol you all know how stubborn mchale is, even if he knew it would guarantee a win he would stick to the same rotation.
It's been a while. But Howard, Asik, Parsons, Harden, Lin was the starting line up in the Rockets win over the Blazers on November 5 in the Rose Garden. Casspi, Garcia and Bev came off the bench.
