Lin and Asik starting makes a ton of sense

Asik plays REALLY good D on LMA he just keeps making tough shots. Lin puts pressure on lillard offensively

Well the thing with that is it gets the rest of the team out if rhythm. They've been a run and gun team all season. Now is not the time to change your identity and play Portlands game. Make them keep up with you.

Somebody needs to hit Aldridge in the leg with a pipe on the way out of the locker room.

    That will stop him. ;)

It isn't how we won games in the regular season. I don't think now is the time to change who you are and how you play as a team. Dwight is good enough to get his in the flow of the offense, rather than being force-fed.

Hahaha so McHale realized this now, after we lost? He didn't seem to have a problem with slowing it down and dumping the ball into the post during the game. Mind boggling how this guy cannot adjust during games, ow yeah right, Sampson our real coach left...

Start Motiejunas and put him on Lopez and then work him over to LMA on a few possessions throughout the quarter.

dwight has just gotta play the asik role on offense but actually catch and finish. that's when we're at our best. force feeding dwight means everyone stands around and watches, our 3 pt shooting isn't there, we don't get in transition. that's exactly the opposite of what we have to do.

dwight cannot carry our offense in the post v. this offensively potent blazers team. a.) hes not good enough to sustain it for a full game and b.) blazers are too good offensively, but an offense around harden and in transition/pick and rolls with spacing can.

    that's the bottom line.

: ) It's not a belief in DMo, so much as a belief that we need to try something new with LMA. LMA is way too comfortable.

And DMo gives us length, lateral quickness, better ball movement and sense of spacing. And better offense than Asik.

that's not what he's saying. and i agree with what he's saying - that we need to keep our usual pace even if we're going low to howard. our offense is predicated on attacking the D before they have a chance to set up, whether that's attacking via the wing or down low. howard needs to make quicker decisions and be committed to moving the ball out of the post if nothing is there.
