Big win for the Clippers. They outplayed the Warriors for most of the game in a tough place to play. Warriors almost stole it at the end, but they put themselves in a position to get favorable treatment from the refs, but they weren't going to get the benefit of the doubt after the Game 1 debacle. Clips probably got the benefit of a few calls (though I do think CP3 was fouled in the act of shooting with 10 seconds or so to go and he should've had 3 FTAs). Chris Paul still hasn't brought his A game. His shooting is off and he is making crunch time errors. I think he is due for a solid all around game.

Harden, once again, mysteriously works his way into your argument when this entire debate isn't even about him.

You rag about Harden more than you talk about the Clippers. Pathetic.

I agree the main thing about them is that they are wildly inconsistent.

That said, I dont remember anyone in here either making a case for Chris Paul when he was fouled in game 1 and the NBA issued an apology because that was one of the most ridiculously reffed games in the 1st round.

Take away both of these and the Ws are probably down 3-0

Harden is very relevant since this is a Houston forum so you guys probably watch him a lot. From what I've seen, he gets a lot of weak-ass foul calls. If this were an OKC forum, I'd say the same thing about KD.

The three missed crunchtime CP3 FTs is the biggest surprise for me. That guy has ice water in his veins so that's VERY unusual.

Ok let me be clear. You are saying that shot didnt matter and the clipps deserved to win because all the warriors did was make threes late to get back in it and give themselves the opportunity to win it. That it doesnt matter if its a foul because all they did was shoot themselves back in it by making crazy threes.....WHICH IS THE WARRIORS OFFENSE

    Hypocrite.

It sucks, I hope the NBA tells refs that if you start off calling the game tight then you finish the game tight. I hate how people just say "Well you don't get that call at the end of the game." Why not? Was it or was it not a foul? In the NBA the rules magically change it seems as clutch time comes.

It is what it is and I don't see how it will change unless the NBA starts holding refs accountable. Foster makes that terrible call that may have cost the Rockets and goes on to ref a game the next night. I mean they admitted it was the wrong call but (fans can assume) that nothing was done to him because he's calling a game the very next night.

Any ways, it was a bad no-call but no one (at least not me) are not saying the Clippers did not deserve to win. They are obviously the much better team and the only way the Warriors win is if they get extremely hot again.

No sympathy for those who bet their christmas bonuses on the clippers in game 1 and the warriors in game 3?

Never questioned Curry's shot choice, just when he decided to take the shot; . He had a clean play that allowed him to get the ball, but imo I thought he had a bit more time to gather. zero question he was fouled. If he did make that shot, he wouldve left about 2 to 3 seconds for the clips to attempt a game winner as well. anyways hind sight is 20-20, but asking Curry he'll tell you he rushed that attempted a bit sooner than he wouldve liked.

Don't address my post with are you a Clippers fan

Respond to what I said... what kind of crap is that?

Im a guy who doesn't like watching players jack up bad shots all game. I don't care if its Durant or Harden or Curry or Steve Nash.. I think its bad basketball and I just don't see them winning a trophy like that. Period

Actually they asked him, and he basically said he got exactly what he wanted and the call didn't go his way.

Refs are like gods in the nba. Really irks me that they aren't held accountable for anything. Hopefully(doubt it) Silver makes some changes.
