I'm at a sunny, spacious cemetery right now and can't help but notice an odd smell. There are no sewages nearby. Is that decomposing body smell? Although Christian, I tend to favor cremation over burial to preserve resources and avoid necrophilia, grave theft, Hauntings a etc.
When I die i want to just be buried with no casket or anything... Give my body back to the earth, its the least i could do.
When I die, I want my funeral to be a party. Have a cake that says "Finally!" on it. Have them prop me up in the corner in some crazy outfit, or have me come flying down from the ceiling to "It's raining men". I want everyone to have one lastaugh at my expense and then spend time telling stories about how I affected them.
Why not be cremated and save the space? 100 years ago burial made sense, but today it causes more harm than good. I no longer notice the smell but .... wondering if it is common for buried bodies to have odor?
I haven't posted in awhile due to state of the team. I'm compelled to post in this thread for some odd reason. There was an odd smell at the morgue during the viewing of my uncle. You know distinct like a slaughter house or place to buy seafood is. Weird, makes me kinda sick
I want my body to be towed behind a boat near that island where all the great white sharks leap out of the water catching seals. I think it would be cool to video them grabbing a real human corpse while going airborne. My body will be ready.

http://www.hark.com/clips/nmmhmjwfhc-aah-you-can-always-smell-a-graveyard If indeed it's corpse smell it is emanating from either an above ground tomb, or the mausoleum. I've read of several cases where a person was not embalmed before being buried and this causing issues. Sometimes the mausoleum will have a water leak of some sort or a crack in one of the seals that pushes the dead smell out rapidly. If it's not a corpse smell it could be from a pile of manure-fertilizer, Houston pollution, or you may have found Carcosa "I get a bad taste in my mouth out here... aluminum... ash... like you can smell a psychosphere." True Detective
This post. I... My mind is blown. My mind was not ready for this post. You're proposing "chumping the shark."
