Well it is on ESPN and not TNT, so there is a sliver of hope right there. But I predict a double-digit Portland win.

Harden might play better, but why would any of the other problems that have plagued the Rockets over the last few weeks suddenly cure themselves? They still play lousy defense. They still rely way too much on ISOs. They still struggle from the 3-point line. And McHale seems hellbent on going with a 7-man rotation in the postseason.

its funny how this site is like a family even though we are so dysfunctional but at the end of day sink or swim we're all in this together.

my personal rule is to not start watching baseball until rockets are no longer relevant and i'm not ready to start watching baseball yet.

In order to win this series we need to win 4 out of next 5. It'd better start with a win tomorrow.

Doubling? How about Singling? How about not letting Aldridge get warmed up with unguarded pick and fade jump shots all night.

The team is down 2-0 with the next two in portland. Everyone is writing off houston. The team needs to go out there and play like they have nothing to lose. Portland knew what was at stake when they won game 2 and that the pressure was on us. Now the pressure is on them to win the next 1.

At least you see the problems with this team are bigger than the coach and harden. You've accepted that they're just not that good.

Aldridge has proven he can score on anyone - except Dmo - but that's cause Dmo hasn't played.

    It's time.

They never were. Their offensive system gets them by in the regular season against crappy teams but is exposed in the post season. When ever possession counts, execution is vital and this freelance basketball won't do anything. Don't even get me started on their defense either.

Harden play anywhere close to his usual self offensively, we win both games.

Did you watch the games? Do you know how many times Lilliard blew by Bev in game 1? Do you know how many jumpers LMA nailed in Asik's face?

Mean. Angry. Pissed off. Seething. Out for blood.

These are the things our Rockets need to be feeling at game time tomorrow. Pride is on the line, the season is on the line, the cities hopes are on the line. Will they stand up? Will they fight? The opportunity for greatness is at their fingertips. The opportunity to make history is at their doorstep. Will they seize this opportunity? Will they grab this opportunity by the throat and punch it in the face repeatedly until it submits to their will?

I say YES. YES THEY WILL!

I know a lot of people are upset at Harden, but this ^ is why I can't work up a real anger at him. Because it just feels like our players are being toyed with by Terry Stotts. And the Rockets aren't fighting back with any strategies of their own.

What? Actually think about your opponent, and figure out sets and strategies for attacking their weaknesses ,and playing with them minds? I don't see McHale working that way.

But I would love to see McHale do it.
