Mchale "We got nothing right now" JB Bickerstaff "The first two possessions we were f**king hyper-ve

Seriously...this is what they talk about with everything thats going on the court? Where are the people who defended Mchale all season? SMH.

 

On a side note did Bickerstaff sound a little like a yes man just repeating what McHale had said earlier. That's a neuro-linguistic programming technique to establish a unsincere connection. But on the inside what he's really thinking is, "Okay Coach your probably gone in two more games which means a job opening for me. So I'm gonna be nice."

 

Probably the reason Kelvin Sampson left. He was the real head coach on this team.

I'm sure Les Alexander gave Daryl Morey a tongue-lashing or tough questions immediately after the game

 

I'm really curious as to what adjustments the great McHale and JB will make. If it's the same old crap then I gotta say it was a good run and good luck with your new team interviews next year.

 

Last 3 plays that doomed us. Comical if the loss was not so painful.

Wes Matthews getting free for an uncontested lay-up. I think McHale called a press, because all of the guys were in the front court. There was a lot of confusion there.

Lin fouling when we were down by 3 in the last 30 sec mark.

The strange ATO play when Lin dribbled for several seconds while the crowd moaned because it was taking too long. Result: Harden pushed off Matthews for a foul.

Team had no focus, cohesion. Totally unprepared, didn't know what they had to do.

 

Haven't tried D-Mo yet on Aldridge. Isn't he a 7 footer? Haven't tried double-teaming him yet. Haven't tried triple-teaming him yet. How come they can double-team Howard and we can't try to double-team Aldridge? Mix it up some more please!

 

The team choked, plain and simple. It's like Game 1 came crashing back to the forefront and they lost it. This could really go either way. Either they'll snap out of it and win 4 in a row or they'll meekly get swept in Portland. Either way, I think Mchale is gone.

I'll say it's pretty obvious why Portland is winning. They pass the ball untilthey get a good look and take the shot. Rockets are not passing, just gunningstraight for the basket and taking low percentage shots without trying to make the passes that are needed.

You know why we can't because whoever Harden is guarding needs attention as well. Harden can't guard his own nose hairs.

 

Guess this is it, I have lost all faith now...I thought there was a small chance we were wrong about his incompetence since the players rave about McHale. That is out the window, Houston, we have some dumb hill billy coaches!!

 

Offense looks stagnant because you don't have any offensive sets dumbarse.

 

so the players are more to blame than he is?

the only player that might be to blame is harden, but even with him not doing anything we still could've won both games if we had a game plan and maybe (gasp) an in game adjustment.

mcfail's out. no question about that. next year is a make or break year for harden. another crappy playoff performance and he's the scapegoat.

he's been a joke imo ever since we lost to the lakers at the beginning of the season because we didn't do a simple logic foul to end the game.
