No J tonight, doesn't bring the Energy and Effort on D either.

If he didn't have any assists tonight I'd consider removing the A from his name. Heck, after the past 2 games might as well remove the H. No Heart.

    LOL right...

No win with guys. No matter what you say as a player people can twist it into something negative.

Just call him A. Because he is a huge A-hole as well.

Harden has ALOT to prove at this point. Talking s$it to a reporter isn't going to cut it, and that's not how pros handle things.

Prove it on the court. STFU and play like you care, dude. Earn your millions and make the enemy work for his. Anything short of that... No one gives a F%$^ what you have to say.

Win or shut the hell up.

Stephen A Smith was right. Harden is way too sensitive. He better step his game up.

Pretty sure Harden is at Dreams / V-Live at the moment.

Harden looked so out of it throughout the whole game. Whenever they cut to him on the bench, even then he did not look focused at all; often just staring out in space. Unacceptable behavior when you aren't playing well and already lost a game they should have won. I expected James to take control of this game from the tip. Instead, I saw him roam 5 feet from the 3 point line looking uninterested in the offense far too much. When he did have the ball, he held on to it and generally looked confused as to what he wanted to do with the ball in the first place. You can't be doing that of the only reason you're out there is to play elite offense. Honestly, Jeremy Lin looked more sure of himself on offense than James.

Honestly, I think some of it was that we went to Dwight so much in the first quarter. We went to him our first 10 possessions, at least. I can see that throwing off James' game as it did with Parsons as well. Can't blame Dwight though because he was simply amazing and getting the job done.

We just get so unbalanced as a team. We get stuck doing one thing for so long that it bites us in the ass when that option isn't working as well anymore. Once Dwight started missing some of the shots he was making earlier, our offense when to the toilet. We were stuck between wanting to get Dwight the ball or going ISO. Neither are good options.

"it's just basketball" seems to imply it's ain't that big of a deal... or it is a big deal and he's just deflecting. Ah, Harden, just acknowledge your struggle and move forward.

I think he meant that "It's just basketball" in reference to his shots falling or not.

I saw James Harden quit on a fastbreak tonight. That was most troubling. Parsons bailed his ass out on the play. He should've been benched on the spot but McHale doesn't have a pulse.

I updated the original post with the Harden media availability (not the argument). You can see/hear where Harden was asked about his shooting struggles.

Sorry but being one of the leaders of the team he has to take responsibility for his garbage play in the playoffs so far. I don't have a problem with what he said with the team D being bad but I have a big problem with him acting like it's just another game with his offense like he could just turn it on anytime he wants. Take it like a leader and not get into a pissing match with a reporter. You don't get angry on the court but you wait to get angry in the locker room when it's all over.

Jay... You HAVE followed Harden's career prior to this incident, haven't you...?

This isn't the first, nor the second time he's exhibited this kind of casual dismissive behavior about the significance of his shortcomings to the media...
