I didn't see any passion in him.

 

This is a really sad day in Houston Rockets basketball. But I can't say I didn't see it coming, I was just PRAYING it wouldn't come...and definitely didn't see it happening this badly.

But McHale has been leading us to this outcome all season long, for those that could see it coming.

TT should only work with Lin, Harden and Parsons in also because you need more offense with that lineup...not defense from Bev.

Bev is more effective coming off the bench with less minutes so he can really do his thing at the highest level...been saying this from day one. But he is highly overrated by this board and now the national media has picked up the narrative because he gets on players nerves, even if he doesn't stop them really.

Lin is really out of it, but I only blame him partly because he has been put in an almost impossible situation. Asked to mostly play SG, not lead the offense as a true PG, become a spot up shooter and is really only given the green light to attack in the open court. He has his flaws for sure as a young player, but his skill set is totally underutilized and wasted by this coaching staff.

Lin and Harden, two of the best picknroll guards in the league, with arguably the best PnR big man in the game...and what do we do? Hardly ever run Pick and Rolls. The narrative that Lin duplicates and can't play with Harden was wrong from the beginning and now it will bite this team in the ass.

I have always said that we can't win a Championship with McHale as the head coach, but I had hoped that we could at least get to the conference finals with some luck; and at least the second round with just our talent alone. But McHale is showing that he is actually hurting this team instead of just being a side show.

I hope the Rockets come back and make it to the second round. But this is really disheartening and embarassing to watch as a fan. Harden is sucking, Parsons not doing to great, but most of all...McHale is FAILING.

That's Mchale's style. No play no nothing, just pass the ball to DH or Harden.

 

Loosing second game in a row, clearly shows, McHale didnt have any Game Plan!

Motivational talk alone aint cutting it.

I would have used TD and JH and Dmo sparingly to test waters.

At this point, if Mchale doesnt come up with a plan for next game, it clearly shows, McHale is not a playoff caliber coach. We have talented players but without a coach who knows how to rip from their talent, aint gonna work especially in playoffs

 

Haha, I'm as pissed at Harden as much as the next guy, but this is just hilarious.

 

Lin needs to attack more. Not sure if it was the flu that bothered him but he needs to be aggressive and help contribute to offense as well. Thought he did okay at everything else, but was too late to be aggressive in the 4th gotta attack early.

 

I hope Dwight Howard stays here for few more years.

 

And Lin has become more and more irrelevant in this system. Just a bench spark, nice to have but could live (or die) without.

Harden needs Lin's help or he might meltdown.

 

Idk why I kept watching this game. I knew we were losing at halftime.

He's only showed up for 1 quarter all series basically. He is making stupid ass screen fouls and he's missing the easiest shots at the rim. He's not exactly playing great

 

Stop being naive. His job clearly is to pass the ball to DH or Harden. How many shots do you see him making this year vs last year? His the fourth option after Parson on this team. If he is take the major load of offense, it will have to be on another team.

 

So you mean Game 2 down 0-1 at home wasn't your season?

 

Agreed, the offense looks so sloppy. It seems like most guys are just standing around waiting for 1 players to do something before reacting. players shoudl be already cutting and moving at all times like a well oiled machine. instead everyone just grabs popcorn and becomes a watcher. but it's interesting to say that someone mentioned a lot of coaches probably are dying to want to properly coach the team. the talent is there, but the discipline is not. team is simply not disciplined.
